Reese smiled. "I had to make sure you were convinced."
Reese smiled. "I had to make sure you were convinced."
"I promised t' take you home, didn't I? Gotta take you to see the flowers." She looked over at Reese, smiling softly.
Reese beamed. "Of course!"
"You're required to wear something nice, but that's literally the only requirement. One year I wore a sundress, and managed to spill chili fries all over it."
Reese giggled. "I have nice clothes."
"Hopefully they're chili repellent." A. joked.
"Hopefully," she echoed.
"Well, I can't wait. You'll love it. At night, there are fairy lights strung up everywhere, and everything glows softly…"
"I'm not sure. What are you going to get?" she asked, looking at him. Her eyes glanced down at their entwined fingers quickly.
"A slice of pizza and fruit punch." He said, before moving up in the line and repeating the same thing to the employee.
"Well, I can't wait. You'll love it. At night, there are fairy lights strung up everywhere, and everything glows softly…"
Reese closed her eyes and a dreamy look came over her face. "It sounds wonderful…"
"I'm not sure. What are you going to get?" she asked, looking at him. Her eyes glanced down at their entwined fingers quickly.
"A slice of pizza and fruit punch." He said, before moving up in the line and repeating the same thing to the employee.
"Uh, make that two please," she said when the employee looked at her.
"It is. There are flowers everywhere, and music! And there's a spot in the center of town that's designated for dancing, and I'm going to take you dancing, definitely." She looked over at Reese, smiling.
Reese didn't open her eyes. She was lost in a fantasy. Her smile was small and her lips were slightly parted in thought.
A. watched her for a few moments, before speaking gently. "Hey, watcha thinkin' about?"
Her eyelids fluttered open. "How much fun it's going to be," she answer softly.
"It's going to be a lot of fun. We could even go treasure hunting during the day. There's this old legend…"
Reese's eyes sparkled. "Legend?"
((i've legit been considering making that idea into an rp lol
"This pirate was rumored to have buried treasure in town, and the first clue is somewhere in the light house. Nobody's found anything yet, but y'know."
(Ta-da! Here's your chance!)
She looked excited. "We can look for it!"
((well would you like to do it here, or a whole new one with that focus? could even be a branch off
"Perfect! We can buy eye patches and pretend we're pirates ourselves!"
She giggled. "That would look silly."
(Whatever you like!)
"I don't know, I think I could pull off a pirate look pretty well…" She mused.
((i'm gonna make one and link you, you in?
(Hells yeah! ;D)
"Not me." Reese made a face.
"I'll be the pirate then, and you can be the pretty girl I rescue from a life of boredom and tiresome men. Sweeping you off of your feet and into a life of adventure!"
"I like the sound of that!" Reese beamed happily.
"The real gay agenda is taking your girlfriend on treasure hunts." She joked, shoving the equivalent of a forkful of rice into her mouth.
Reese smiled happily. "I can't wait…"
"It seems so far away now!"
"It does," she pouted. "Why can't our roleplayers just timeskip to it after this scene?"
((that might throw it so out of wack but i mean…
A. huffed, and resumed shoveling rice in her mouth.
