“Don’t know where that idea came from but yeah, I probably would.” Wesley stuck out his hand and said, “Well, I should probably tell you who I really am. My name is Wesley Chance, but you can just call me Wes.”
Calix shook his hand. "Nice to formally meet you Wes. You may call me Calix or even Cal." Calix responded.

Wes nodded and withdrew his hand. “You too. So, did I hear you say your boyfriend was a demon?” He squinted at Calix with a puzzled look in his eyes.
Calix smiled. "Yes you heard me correctly. But he is a sweetheart and honestly I kill more than him. he became a demon like most by making bad deals. He made a deal to keep his dog alive longer."

“Ah… I guess that nice?” Wesley took a sip of his new whiskey. “Anyways, how long have you been tracking this angel?” He asked.
"I have been tracking him for long enough. Though if it really matters it has been 3 months." Calix replied then raised an eyebrow. "How much whiskey are you going to drink?"
Wesley had downed his second drink and then ordered a third.
“Enough for to comprehend everything right now.” He sighed. He took out his knife and fiddled with it, keeping it under the table.
"And I thought people liked to stay sober on the job." Calix joked and drank his water. Then looked down at the marked up table, scratches, scuffs, indents. There were marks all over it. As he looked he focused on angel radio to see if there was any news.
“Some hunters, maybe, but not me.” Wesley laughed, then checked his watch. 12:52 am. He slid his knife back into his belt loop and sat up a little straighter. “So, uh… Do you angels sleep?”
"Um, no. We don't sleep." Calix replied then ordered another water after he finished his. "Are you tired?"
“A bit, Yeah. See, us humans,” he paused, gesturing to himself. “We actually do sleep, and it’s almost one in the morning.” Wesley took one last swig of his whiskey and set down a $20 bill on the table.
"Well have some great sleep then." Calix said as he finished his water. "I'll be around town for awhile."
