@Hawkeye
“Um….. I mean, there’s storage closet that’s aurprisingly big, but other than that…. nothing really.”
“Um….. I mean, there’s storage closet that’s aurprisingly big, but other than that…. nothing really.”
"Oh," She said in disappointment. "What do we do now?"
(wanna do a time skip?)
“I want to draw, you can what you want.”
(Yep)
The next morning, Jayde woke up feeling refreshed. She carefully stepped of the bed, hoping not to make any noise and tip-toed to the bathroom. She got ready and decided to put her hair in a messy bun. She opted for a black shirt with flannel and skinny jeans with her Timbs. She shook Finn awake and let him know she was done and he needed to wake up before putting her stuff in her bag.
(If they have uniforms then disregard the outfit part.)
(They have uniforms, but it’s fine)
“Morning.” Finn groaned. Not a morning person.
Finn got dressed as well, stuffing his sketchbook in his book bag.
"Morning." She replied, putting her bag on her back. "Show me around?"
“Let’s go to the library.”
Jayde opened the door for the both of them while taking her card from the shelf nearby. She rubbed her neck before speaking. "I completely forgot where it was."
“I’ll show you.” Finn said, leading her downstairs and across the courtyard.
Jayde followed right behind him looking out in astonishment to the courtyard.
“That fountain is over 200 years old. Brought it in from the original school in France.” Finn said, pointing to a huge stone fountain.
"It's nice." She commented quietly following behind him.
“Thanks.” Finn replied. He lead her up the stairs to the library, which was huge.
Jayde put her hand on the rail and went up the large stairs, finally reaching the top.
Finn ran in, moving to each shelf and picking his book easily. Sometimes he’d hand them to Jayde when he couldn’t carry them.
"Wow, this is a lot." Jayde said, not yet struggling at the weights of the books.
“Not done yet.” Finn replied, handing her three more large books.
Once Finn put those on her arms, her knees buckled but she managed to stay standing. She walked over to an empty table and put those there before going to look for her books.
Finn took one more book before heading off to find Jayde.
Jayde got a total of five books all in different genres and subjects before waving Finn over to her.
“Hey, ready to drop these off in our dorm then head to class?”
"Yup." She answered picking up each one easily and heading for the stairs.
Finn followed her out of the building, and up to the dorms.
Jayde put her books neatly in the shelf before getting her pens and going back to the door.
Finn just dumped his on the bed, before grabbing his stuff and leaving.
Jayde closed the door behind them and followed Finn. "We basically have the same classes so I'll be following you around until my sports classes."
“So English first, then?” Finn asked, checking his schedule. “That’s a plus, my aunt is the teacher.”
Jayde nodded, remembering when she looked at both their schedules that they had the same classes in the same order. "Is that weird for you?"
“I’m related to half the staff here. My grandpa is the vice principal, my other aunt is the principal, my uncle teaches Chemistry, my cousin is the Swim Coach, and my other uncle is the art teacher. There’s more, but that’s what I’m remembering at the moment.”
"Oh god." Jayde said, she couldn't imagine going to a school that was filled with her relatives. "How do you cope?"
