Silver had come up into the clearing to cheer his brother on. But paused when he noticed something strange. (He's noticed Reed's spell.)
Anna moved so she was on her knees in front of him. “Jack, Listen to me, we aren’t back in Hell’s Castle, okay? I promise.”
“Get away!” Jack yelled. Anna closed her eyes sadly. She backed away, so she couldn’t touch him.
“Listen, you’re safe, okay? It’s me, Anna, your sister.”
Jack whimpered. “Please don’t hurt me.” He whispered.
“I’m not going to hurt you, buddy. I promise.”
Silver walked calmly around the deul, focused only on that one spot, coming up to it he felt a barrier blocking him out.
“Anna?” Jack whispered. Anna hated how sad and hoarse he sounded.
“It’s me, buddy.” With that, Jack reached out for her. Anna moved again, sitting down next to him. Jack leaned into her, obviously fighting to stop panicking.
Silver placed a hand on the sheild, gently pressing through it with his Luna magic. Immediately noting Jack's panic attack he quickly pulled out a small flask. Kneeling a short distance away from Anna he held it out to her. "It's a calming remedy, it might help" he said softly.
Anna looked up from trying to calm her brother, and took the flask silently, nodding gratefully. “Jack, buddy, can you drink this?”
He shook his head, and Anna frowned frustratedly. “Come on, it’ll help you feel better.”
Jack took the flask and drank some, before quickly handing it back to Anna, who handed it back to Silver.
Silver took it silently, watching carefully.
Jack relaxed slowly against Anna, ceasing to shake and regaining the ability to not hyperventilate. Anna looked up at Silver, and quietly said, “Thank you.”
Silver nodded, smiling as he got up and left the bubble, watching as Glaciero and Eclipse battled with Ice and Shadow magic.
Jack took a few deep breaths. “Anna?”
“Right here, Jack.”
“Sorry.” Jack whispered pathetically.
“Don’t he sorry. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
Jack sighed and sat up.
“Ready to leave the bubble?” Anna asked.
Jack shook his head. “Not yet.”
Silver glanced back at the bubble, then sighed, "she's got it" he mumbled to himself.
After a few more minutes, Jack stood up. “I’m ready.”
Anna stood up as well, leaving he bubble first. Jack followed, and once they were both out, Reed got rid of it.
Silver noticed them come out, and silently made a note to make more of the calming potion in case of future incidents.
Anna nodded at Silver thankfully, and sat down next to Reed. Jack seemed content to stand for a little while, and neither Reed nor Anna bothered to make him sit down.
Silver winked, it's what I do he thought.
Eventually, when Jack started rubbing the mark on his upper arm, Anna pulled him down next to her and pulled his hand away.
After awhile the duel ended in a draw, both men shaking hands, and agreeing to eventually settle the score. After that everyone started moving most pairing off for patrol, or hunting patrol, and others off to do other evening chores.
“You good, Jack?” Anna asked cautiously.
“Tired.” Jack was back to one word answers, which never meant something good.
Silver came over to Reed after the fight, "does stuff like that happen often?" He asked quietly, not Wanting to upset Jack.
“It’s better than it used to be. You should’ve seen him a few years ago. He broke Anna’s nose, by accident. But yeah, it happens a lot.” Reed whispered back to him.
"Anything that really bad triggers that can be avoided?"
“You can’t really tell sometimes if something’s going to cause a panic attack or not, but usually if he sees his sister in a possibly dangerous situation, or be sees the guys who hurt him before, that’s a pretty easy way to trigger a panic attack.”
"Alright" said Silver. "If you don't mind Im gonna let Frost and Glaciero know about this in case it happens again"
“It’s fine. As long as no one makes a big deal.”
"They won't" said Silver. "The only reason Im telling them is so that they know in case I get put out of commission." He said before wandering off back towards the main clearing.
“Ok…” Reed said, trying to check on Ajck and anna. They seemed okay.
(I’m going to bed. I’m not too busy tomorrow)
(Ok. Fyi I might not be on as much… have stuff to do first thing. And Im trying to set a friend up on notebook.)
(Anything is fine with me)
Silver wandered into the camp, immediately heading for his den. Getting to it he carefully went inside, careful not to trip over Arthur. Arthur was unconscious and clearly in pain.
Reed put his arm around Jack, on his other side. “Well, this day has been insane.”
