I'm a flute in marching band with one other flute then we both were told to switched to piccolo. Ah piccolo, the human dog whistle. Am I right FossilJasper.

Why is writing music so difficult .

IKR?? I have it all in my head but then I sit down to write it out and I get so wrapped up in the technicalities of putting it down and how exactly to write what's going on in my head that I lose the music entirely and it's so frustrating.

EXACTLY! I've had this song in my head for the past few weeks and I'm finally writing it out, But the piano chords wont sound right with the Melody the way they do in my head.

Yes, that happens all the time! Nothing I've ever written turns out the way I wanted it to.

I've decided to stick with it and just figure the dang thing out other wise it with bug me for the rest of my life, You can listen to it if I can figure out how to share the thing.

We established a whole family system, it originally started with just the flutes but I also have an uncle who’s a bassoon and my grandpa who’s a French horn

The flutes in my section would never do that ;u;

I’m the psycho toddler, Mom and Dad, (first chair flute and piccolo) have divorced several times when one of them takes first chair. Then there’s the crazy twins, the two older sisters, and the only son.

I only have one other flute in my section. She is the best flute buddy(FossilJasper) ever^w^

hi yall so im not in marching band im in like concert band but i have the option of doing marching band next year and i think i might do it but does anyone wanna tell me like what the heck even happens there like ive heard from people either they love it and its their life or they hate it and its super hard so like ???
