Damian smiled softly. “I apologize, I didn’t mean to startle you, Catori. I have elected to let you set the parameters of our relationship, since I am…” He cringed st the word about to leave his lips, his pride almost stopping him from mumbling out: “rather inexperienced.”
"You don't have to apologize, Damian. You just, caught me off guard." She looked over at him, the red of her cheeks somewhat lessened. "I should be apologizing for getting so flustered over a compliment."
“Nonsense, I am flattered you think so highly of me.” Damian seemed a bit amused by her behavior, “I hate to begin pestering you with this now, but have you considered the Uh… um, well—“ He seemed to have a hard time forcing himself to say the words. “Ah, never mind. It’s too early anyways.
"You already started the sentence, you might as well finish it." Catori stated, quirking an eyebrow.
Damian groaned quietly in protest, but spoke up “The wedding?”
"Considered what about it? There's a lot that goes into a wedding."
“The date, or if you actually want to marry me. And whether or not your family is okay with you going off an an adventure and getting married without telling them…”
"Oh, the date was something I hadn't even considered. In any case, my family would be glad to see me finally out of the palace. It's…been a while, to say the least." She chuckled wryly.
If it were up to Damian he would sit here all day and compulsively ask if she was certain she liked him. Instead, he smiled, chuckling. “My father wanted us all out as well.”
((Heading t' bed for the night!
"Ah, new adventures and getting away from the family." She proclaimed dramatically, arms out in a wide, flourishing gesture.
Goodnight!))
Damian chuckled in amusement. “Quite the family we are now.” He looked around at the odd procession. “A prince, a princess, two horses, and an arrogant bird.” He looked over at Copper, who had perched on the carriage being pulled behind them. The magpie was fast asleep to Damian’s relief.
"We can take a break anytime you want," Pine said with a soft sigh. "Do you like shopping?"
"You like fighting, huh?" Victor commented. He waved at Alexia to come over uncertainly.
"… Yes." Ursule said, pausing for a moment before answering that.
Alexia nodded and walked over to Victor, still confused but not showing it. "Hi Victor," she said, nodding to him and then nodding in greeting at the other princess, "Who is this?" Her tone was slightly hostile if you listened closely, but she tried her best not to show it.
Lotus sighed and shook her head slightly, "Not particularly, unless it's shopping for books."
((Hey guys I know I havnt been on for I while I got sick again, it hasn’t been a good couple weeks but I finished reading everything and was wondering if I’m able to still pop in?))
(of course :))
Pine started to smile. "Then we can go buy books if you need to take a break."
"This is Ursule," Victor said. "And Charming and Panic." He stopped. "You're still coming, right?"
"Hello." Ursule returned the greeting, rolling her eyes internally. Oh great, another pissy princess to deal with when I could be fighting people and using magic.
Lotus began to formulate a plan in her head so she could get a break before having to keep her illusion up for the remainder of the ride, "Of course. Should we go now or later?"
"I figured I was, but if you don't want me to.." She trailed off, her eyes cold as she glanced at Ursule while the rest of her face made her seem soft and friendly. She clasped her hands behind her back and felt them grow slightly colder, breathing out slowly so that she didn't start freezing the ground.

"Quite the family." Catori said, smiling brightly.
((hhmmm

(Maybe you could have her talk to Prince Kai since @42 just came back?)
Damian let the conversation lapse into silence. He looked around them, taking in the scenery for the first time beyond the city walls on his own. The grassy plains gave way to a forest just up ahead. If they could manage to get through without getting lost or interrupted, he would be set.
However, creeping doubt sunk into the prince’s mind. He was an avid reader and grew up on the stories of beasts and demons lurking just beyond the trails. It was foolish of him to hold any fear, but the lingering what if’s made him pale a little as they drew ever closer to the looming pines.
Catori grew excited at the sight of the forest, and her fingers tapped quickly as she leaned forward a bit to look. Memories flashed through her mind of days as a child, spent racing through the forest with her brothers, and she smiled.
“You seem excited.” Without thinking, Damian’s gaze had settled on Catori once again.
"The woods carry good memories with them." She looked over at him, her smile turning a bit worried. "Your posture indicates some anxiety. What's wrong?"
“I…” Damian decided to tell the truth this time. “I suppose I haven’t been in the woods in a long time. I may have been letting my imagination get the best of me. Which is foolish, I know. I can talk to the animals.” He looked away, his face turning red with embarrassment.
"Take comfort in knowing you're the most dangerous thing in there." Catori said, looking back towards the forest. "Plus, if it's comforting, you have me on your side as well."
Damian stared at the woods for a moment before nodding. “It can be challenging.” He admitted, quietly. “It’s a lot of voices all at once.”
