Heather walked into her cabin and set down her bag. She sat on the bed and smoothed down the covers, a small smile stretching across her face. Though she was on a job, she had never been to a sleep-away camp and was honestly rather excited. She looked up at the three other beds and wondered who her roommates would be.
Jessica smiled. "And your name is?"

"A name." Felix laughed.
As she had arrived early, she decided to go outside and explore the camp. She walked out into the sunlight and sat on the steps of her cabin, looking up to the sky.

Jessica smiled. "Fine. Don't tell me your name then." She said, starting to walk.

Calista walked out of her assigned cabin that she was supposed to share with 3 other girls. SH checked the list on the wall and she seemed to have only one… Jessica Haller. She didn't know who that was but was excited to make a new friend. It seemed like she'd be a nice girl, or so she hoped.
Heather saw another girl walk out of a cabin. Might as well, she thought. She smiled and waved. "Hey!"
Cali turned around and saw a tall girl with black hair and smiled. "Hi there" she said waving. she walked down the steps to the path to join the nice looking girl.
"I'm Heather. Heather Duke." She stuck out a hand.

"Hey man, I was kidding, Felix." Felix grinned.
"Like the girl from Heathers? Sorry for my garbage taste in music" She said laughing. She shook Heathers hand.
"Yeah, like the girl from Heathers," she laughed. "And I just happen to be Seventeen."
"That's fantastic. Just maybe i think we'll be good friends" she said, and laughed.
Heather grinned. "That'd be nice."She looked around. "First time at this camp?"
"Yea, actually" she said, a little nervous to be that girl that can't really fit in anywhere.
"Me, too. First time at a sleep-away camp actually. I'm really excited."
"Same. I'm just glad I found someone to hang out with on the first day so im not looking pathetic later on"
"Ditto. I have plenty of chances to look pathetic in school…" That was a blatant lie.
"Sounds fun. im not 100% sure where i stand on the social podium anymore. im friends with the populars and the jocks flirt with me one day and others im stuck with out a place to sit in the cafeteria" she said hoping she wouldn't look like a total loser.
Heather nodded along. "Well, I'm the only Heather in my school so I don't have my clique to support me. I'd even make do with a Veronica, but no…."
"well hopefully there's no crazy boys who try to bomb the school during a pep rally either"
Heather smiled. "Wouldn't put it past them." And she literally did think the boys at her 'school' would be able to bomb a school.
