Dammit)
How much time will have passed?)
(9 pm?)
Kk)
I carefully swung a little girl down from my back, tapping her on the nose. “Alright, I have to go now,” I apologized to a group of kids. “Be good, alright?”
Eden's POV:
I felt such a loner. The other three got along so well with the kids, while I stuck to just one. We read together and he ate and offered me some.
I laughed quietly to myself, shaking my head as I remembered our conversation. I didn't mind giving my attention to just one child. We were both loners, so we got along. It was fun.
I should definitely come here again. Every weekend…
Sterling’s POV:
I laughed and pulled kids off my arms and legs. It had been a long day, but it had been fun.
“Bye, little star. I’ll try to come again soon,” I said softly, taking Estella off my shoulders.
After a round of disappointed sighs, I jogged up to Gray, slipping my arms around him from behind. “Hey, Mr. Jealousy.”
Gray’s POV:
I turned away from her, crossing my arms.
“Who are you again?” I raised an eyebrow. “Guys, who is this girl?”
“Oh, hilarious,” I chuckled, mimicking his stance. “I guess you didn’t want a kiss then, for when we get back?”
Gray’s POV:
I turned around to face her, furrowing my eyebrows. This girl…! She was beginning to tease me back now, huh?
I leaned my face closer to her.
“I want my apology,” I said with an eyebrow raised. “I’m hurt.”
Sterling’s POV:
As soon as I had gotten all the kids off of me, I made my way over to Eden. I smiled at her and the little boy she was reading with.
“Hey, guys. Time to leave,” I said softly.
Gray’s POV:
I turned around to face her, furrowing my eyebrows. This girl…! She was beginning to tease me back now, huh?
I leaned my face closer to her.
“I want my apology,” I said with an eyebrow raised. “I’m hurt.”
I mimicked his eyebrow-raise, even going so far as to stick out my tongue. “If you want an apology,” I said slowly, “You can come to my dorm room and take it.”
(Gasp In front of the children!
Lol. 😂)
(🤣🤣🤣)
Eden’s POV:
Upon hearing Sterling’s words, Luke immediately wrapped his arms around me.
“No!” He exclaimed. “You can’t take her.”
I laughed and hugged him back, looking at Sterling.
“Well, the child has chosen,” I shrugged. “What can we do now?”
Gray’s POV:
My eyes darkened as I took her in—the raised eyebrow, the tongue sticking out of her mouth… she was really pushing my buttons, wasn’t she?
“And if I do come to your dorm…” I took slow steps towards her. “What do you plan on doing to me as an apology?”
Sterling’s POV:
“Hey, I had her first,” I chuckled, bending down to the kid’s eye level. “We’ll come back soon, I promise. You can see her then.”
Eden’s POV:
I almost laughed at Sterling but controlled myself. Luke looked at me with his large eyes.
“You will?” He asked quietly. I nodded my head and ruffled his hair.
“I will, I promise,” I said to him. “Next week. I’ll visit next week, and I’ll bring the cakes you liked so much.”
Luke gave me another big head before he finally let go. I set my hand on the ground, picking myself up.
“Well,” I turned to Sterling. “Let’s go?”
Sterling’s POV:
“See you later, little man,” I said to the kid with a friendly grin before turning to Eden, my grin softening. “Yeah, let’s go. Think Gray and Violeta would like a ride?”
Eden’s POV:
I’m sure I looked like a lovesick puppy. I nodded at him, smiling.
“I think they do,” I nodded slowly, reaching out for his hand. “They’re probably outside.”
(Did they go outside yet? I thought they were still inside…)
Sterling’s POV:
“All right. I saw them not that long ago, they couldn’t have gotten far,” I said, offering her my hand with a grin.
(No idea.)
Eden’s POV:
I took his head shyly, linking our fingers together.
“I don’t think they’d leave without telling us,” I said. “But we should hurry. It is late, after all.”
I grinned playfully and flicked his nose, turning away. “Behave in front of the kids, Gray,” I tossed over my shoulder, making my way towards the exit.
(Lol. Whelp…)
Sterling’s POV:
“Of course. Let’s go wait for them by the car. We can text them if they haven’t joined in in five minutes,” I suggested, unable to keep from pecking her lips lightly.
Gray’s POV:
I looked at her back as she walked away, a bit surprised at her reaction.
Until my lips twisted into a smirk, that is. This was getting interesting… she was finally learning how to respond to me.
Shaking my head and laughing, I followed after her.
We’ll see how well you keep up that attitude… I said to myself, still laughing.
(Lol. Whelp…)
Sterling’s POV:
“Of course. Let’s go wait for them by the car. We can text them if they haven’t joined in in five minutes,” I suggested, unable to keep from pecking her lips lightly.
Eden’s POV:
“Sterling!” I squeezed his hand tightly. “There are kids!”
I caught up to Sterling and Eden, cheeks slightly flushed. I finally felt like I was slipping into the rhythm of the flirting Gray had set up for us, and it felt admittedly satisfying.
Gray’s POV:
I caught up to Violeta slowly, the smirk still present on my features. However, I didn’t look at her when I stopped walking.
“Well, today was fun,” I said to Eden and Sterling. “Thanks for suggesting this.”
Sterling’s POV:
“Yeah, this was a good idea, babe,” I agreed with Gray, grinning down at her before turning to Gray and Violeta. “You guys need a ride?”
I looked to Gray.
“Up to you,” I said, adding to Sterling, “We’re both going back to my place.”
Gray’s POV:
I looked over at Violeta.
“Yeah,” I agreed cheerfully. “This one here owes me a favor.”
Eden tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears before nodding.
“Let’s go, then?”
