Brie blinked sleepily as Ella shook her arm. She noticed the bus had stopped. Ella was looking at her expectantly, and it took Brie a moment to remember the question.
"Of course we can talk, yeah." she said, pushing herself up.

gently taking Brie's hand
ella led her outside so they could talk.
"so..um you said you tell me the truth when we were alone".
Samuel followed everyone (sorry, i had some legal stuff to take care of :P i hate pressing charges lol)
ella waited for Brie to reply.
(Sorry sorry)
Brie was, of course, suddenly wide awake. She had completely forgotten her promise. As she looked at Ella, everything came rushing back. The thrill, the fear, the pain, the screams. She exhaled deeply.
"You won't like it. You'll judge me, look at me differently. They always do." she whispered.
"nothing you say will change how I see you".
"and ill tell you my secert after".
ella replied.
holding Brie's hand.
As soon as all of the teens were out of the bus, Bia turned to her father. "Bye Dad. See you soon." She hugged her father and soon the teens were all by themselves. Bia turned to a wall with overgrown vines. She pushed the vines away to reveal…………………….a solid rock wall. Well…so it seemed. Bia walked strait through the rock, them turned, halfway between the 'solid' rock and the other teens. "Well what are you waiting for? Come on!"
Samuel had a sudden urge to vomit, but managed to take a weak step forward. It was progress.
Brie was about to let everything spill. You've never told anyone everything, except Jake and look where that got you, she reminded herself. But Ella looked so sincere, so careful, and she caved.
"I was born into a normal family. I don't how, I don't know why. They were very judgemental people, my birth parents. Closed-minded. On my 5th birthday, my friend had blown out my candles, and I was so mad. I lit them back up just by looking at them. My parents saw, and that tiny moment of difference was enough for them to take me to an orphanage. Another family quickly took me in, also normal. They had a son, Jake. He was three years older than me. He was so nice, and I was still a child, so I told him everything. He was amazed, and I thought that was good, until he actually started making his friends pay to come see his "freaky little sister". He would either bribe or threaten me into putting on shows for them. One day I had enough, and I hit him. He hit me back. His parents came and he blamed me, and they punished me. His mother practically manhandled me, and I kind of just exploded. I set his room on fire, Ella. They kicked me out onto the streets, not even foster care this time. Finally, a family of telekinetics took me in. They tried to teach me to control my power, but I'm not, nor ever was, a quick learner. I lost my temper and almost killed their twin girls. They were 9. And yet, they kept me, tried to teach me. I burned down half their garden. And eventually they also grew scared of me. I could tell because that's about when I started being able to tell people's emotions. So I ran away. I couldn't have been able to stand another family abandoning me. I've been pushing away my powers, but they're only getting stronger. I think it might go wrong again when Bia tries helping me, and I don't want, I can't, hurt her or any of you."
(I AM SO SORRY IT ENDED UP SO LONG I MEANT IT TO BE SHORTER)
ella just walked toward Brie pulling her into a hug.
sighing she replied my aunt hated my father….
(i was never too good at backstories, is it okay?)
Bia didn't want to eavesdrop, but her superhearing made that pretty hard. She made a mental note to talk to Brie after everyone was settled in.
(Yeah it was great.)
because he fell in love and married a guy.
th-they were happy but one day the guy had to go on a work trip.
that night I couldn't sleep
I snuck down stairs
ella took a pause
I fond..I fond she continued my father laying on the floor not breathing..
the day after h-he was killed
hi-his ghost visted me
and told me my aunt had killed him.
I was sent to live with her.
I kept seeing him Brie.
ella finished.
(anyone read the backstory.)
(Hey @Oakie Dokie i've got a really good song that I think you would like. It's called God's Not Done With You by Tauren Wells.)
(thanks!!)
"What's through there?" Samuel asked hesitantly.
(should I repost the backstory?)
(i saw it but idk how my character should respond)
"The bunker." Bia exclaimed.
(sorry was having dinner)
"Ella… I'm sorry." Brie breathed. "It's ironic, isn't it? Your family broke itself, and I never had one to begin with."
She pulled away from Ella and looked her in the eye. "But now we have each other, right?" Brie said. "And Helen, Bia, Samuel, Kana, and Archia. We're safe here."
"yeah"ella replied
"we should probably get inside"she added.
pushing down the feeling they weren't.
Safe.
That was a word Samuel hadn't heard in years.
"Yes, let's."
"So, Bia, when does all the training start?" Kana inquired.
He hoped his abilities would return to full power by the time it started. He was definitely excited.
"Training? Like, powers training?" Samuel stammered, running his hand through his thick red hair.
"As soon as you guys settle in." Bia started up a winding staircase that looked like it had literally grown out of the wood and stone wall.
"That's it pal!" Kana said.
The new kid seemed nervous, but that's alright. New place and all.
"I'm settled in right now." Kana said.
As Bia began to climb the stairs, Kana threw himself at the wall, kicked off of it lightly, and twisted around, putting his feet on the ceiling and altering his open personal gravity, he began to walk backwards and upside-down, up the stairs with Bia. He was careful not to break anything.
"Nice digs," he told her "cool hologram up in front too!"
Samuel watched Kana incredulously, wishing he was that badass. (play on words? :P)
Brie and Ella headed back into the house after their conversation. Brie followed the sound of Kana's voice through a wall, and up a staircase. She had to admit, the house was pretty nice.
the space felt empty.
ella thought.
