It would be a little weird if anyone believing their secret saw that
pierre is a pedo )

Edonine sat with Pierre under one of the trees, catching their breaths after their game of chase and catching fleeting kisses between them. She drew in a deep breath, "I don't want to go back. It's so happy here.."
(😂)
“I know…” he murmured. “I’m sorry.”
She leaned againdt him. "Well.. It is my fault." Edonine admitted in a soft chuckle.
“If you ever want to get out….. I could pull some strings,” he said quietly. “But it’s your decision. I’m only giving you the option.”
Edonine shook her head, "No. I've made a dedication and i can't chicken out,"
Pierre nodded in response, falling silent.
Edonine looked over at him. "New Jersey is so far away," New Jersey, where they were assigned– since their regiment had been killed, kidnapped, wounded, or MIA. She looked up, "But.. I'm excited to get out of Carolina for a change.."
"I guess, yeah. I prefer the northern states to the southern ones, if I'm being honest."
Edonine leaned against him. "Mm.."
(sure
while arriving, or after they've arrived?)
Pierre wiped the sweat from his brow, the aching loss of his best friends heavy on his shoulders. Geoffrey was still recovering from his wounds. Cruz was never coming back to the force again. And Louis……. he was yet to be found.
Francis touched his elbow. "Doing okay?" She whispered. Her own freckled face was glittering with sweat as well. It was strange– and maybe because he had become so used to it, how being in an oversized uniform almost made her seem cuter. "I've got plenty of water in my canteen,"
"It's fine, but thank you," he murmured in response, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Edonine nodded a little. The regiment trekked through the forest– a startlingly hot day for spring– headed for the riverbanks of Trenton. The soldiers like themselves went along on foot, while the higher-ups rode on horseback.
Pierre made sure to keep close to Edonine at all times, occasionally sipping from his flask.
Edonine kept her eyes down– but even so, her thoughts were stuck on the future: what would motherhood be like? To be a wife? To care for others in that way?
Pierre's mind was occupied as well, but by very, very different thoughts. Geoffrey, Cruz, Louis…. he felt a pang in his chest.
Forgive me, I'm a little intimidated by the sheer number of roleplayers on the big top rp xD… Im used to one on one or two roleplayers )
"Pierre?" Francis piped up.
"Nuthin' I can do." She spoke, and changed the subject, "D'yuh want me to get a start on dinner?"
"Remember what I said earlier?" Jane asked with a small smile. "Enjoy yourself. I'll take care of you."
A genuine smile took over her darkened features. "Thank you,"
"If you don't mind taking your bags up to your room alone, I can get started on the tea," Jane offered.

"Pierre?" Francis piped up.
(Ah sorry
I am expecting one or two to drop out though, which usually happens, though I’m not naming any names)
“Yeah?” he answered, his lover’s voice cutting through his train of thought.

"What do you think it'd be like, if you ever became a father?" She worded it as to not arouse suspicion from any eavesdropperss.

Jane headed for the kitchen with a small smile on her lips.
(John/Peter or just later?)
(Okaie!)
Peter was in his tent, purposefully ignoring John by cleaning his gun.
John just kind of stared at Peter. Both expecting no and some response.
“I….. I don’t know,” he answered truthfully. “I don’t know.”
