I have not once been oppressed for being a girl so I seriously don't understand why it's such a big deal here. Maybe it is a problem in other countries, but I've never experienced it and neither have my friends, siblings, parents, etc.

Yeah, like misogyny is still a big thing (hahah especially in the south. Don't get me started), but the only major inequality I can think about is the wage gap (which I admittedly don't know enough about to argue, so don't come at me with any counterarguments, I'm really not in the mood to start anything), and then like… being at risk of having birth control be less accessible.
