Brimming with happiness, I gave him an affectionate head-butt.

"I feel like we're spying on them…"

Gray’s POV:

God, I was falling for this woman harder than I thought. Her little ways of showing affection… I absolutely, absolutely adored it.

I nuzzled her back.

“Think of it like a drama,” I said to her jokingly.

Sterling’s POV:

I frowned at her reaction, then stopped and turned her to face me. After a quick glance over her face, I reached up to cup her cheeks and pressed a light kiss to her lips.

“Hey. Eden. I love you, okay? I don’t care about her or anyone else. I only want you. Okay?” I murmured, rubbing at her cheeks with my thumbs. “Other girls can flirt with me all they want, but I won’t pay them any mind. They aren’t you.”

Swatting playfully at his shoulder, I gave a roll of my eyes.

"As soon as they're done, let's go over. I don't want to interrupt anything."

Eden’s POV:

I leaned into his touch, unconsciously pouting.

“Why are you so attractive, Sterling?” I complained, resting my hands on top of his. “I don’t like it when other girls flirt with you. I don’t want them to.”

Gray’s POV:

I laughed, shaking my head.

“Of course,” I agreed with her. “Whatever you say, Vy.”

Sterling’s POV:

I chuckled softly and kissed her again, just a quick peck on the lips.

“I know, babe. I feel the same way about you,” I assured her gently as I moved my arms to her sides once more. Wrapping my arms around her tightly, I picked her up and spun her around, trying to get the smile that I loved back on her beautiful face.

Eden’a POV:

I quickly threw my arms around Sterling’s neck, squeezing my eyes shut as he spun me around, a squeal escaping my lips.

“Ster—Sterling!” I laughed, digging my face in his neck as he increased his pace. I wrapped my legs around his waist in an attempt to make him slow down. “Okay, okay, I got it! I won’t get jealous again!”

Sterling’s POV:

I laughed and finally set her down. As soon as her feet touched the floor again, I took her lips in mine for a quick kiss.

“Good,” I chuckled, flicking her forehead playfully. “You have no reason to.”

(When should Violeta and Gray walk in?)

(Now, maybe?

Eden’s POV:

I growled at him, smacking his head away and rubbing my forehead.

“I know,” I grumbled right before I caught sight of Violeta.

Holding hands with Grayson.

What… was going on?

Gray’s POV:

“C’mon,” I said to Violeta, linking our fingers together. “I think they’re done.”

(Alright)

Seeing that the strange girl had turned tail and left, I took the opportunity to lead Gray towards Eden and Sterling. “Hey,” I called out in greeting, suddenly very nervous at the idea of them seeing us like this.

Sterling’s POV:

I raised my eyebrows at the sight before me. Was that Grayson and Violeta? Together? And holding hands?

“Hey… I feel like I’m missing something here,” I chuckled, gesturing to the pair’s interwoven fingers. “Did something happen recently?”

Eden’s POV:

I looked at Violeta with a surprised expression, raising an eyebrow. I gave her an expression that said, Right, you don’t like each other, remembering our conversation from a few days ago.

I blushed and averted my eyes, stomach twisting nervously. “It’s a long story….. there was a huge misunderstanding… we sorted it out…”

Sterling’s POV:

“I can see that,” I mused, nodding slowly as I looked between the two. “Anyway, we were just about to head to lunch. Care to join us?”

Gray’s POV:

I looked at Violeta, knowing she wanted to say yes, before I shrugged.

“If you don’t mind,” I replied.

(Wait, he was talking to Sterling, right?)

(Yup!)

“Sounds good,” I agreed, a drop of nervousness seeping into my tone. “Looks like you two sorted everything else, as well.”

Eden’s POV:

I couldn’t help but cover my neck when I heard Violeta say that. I coughed, clearing my throat.

“Um, yeah,” I said, looking away. “We cleared things up. We’re okay.”

I definitely did not miss the fact that she was making sure to cover a spot on my neck, and made a mental note to tease her about it later. “I’m really glad.”

(snorts Eden is going to get so flustered when V asked her about it. lol. I’d pay to see that interaction.
Except, not really because I’m cheap.)

Sterling’s POV:

I couldn’t help but smirk a little as I noticed Eden covering the marks I’d left on her skin. I was rather proud of myself for them, though there wasn’t any specific reason why. Maybe it was because now everyone would know that she was taken, that she was mine.

“Did anyone have somewhere they wanted to eat?” I asked, tightening the arm the was wrapped around Eden’s waist to bring her closer.

Eden’s POV:

I almost groaned, knowing I’d been caught. Of course they would notice me covering my neck hastily. Why wouldn’t they?

“Violeta wanted to have pizza,” Gray responded, looking at Violeta with a fond expression on his features. I have to say, I was glad they’d fixed whatever misunderstanding was between hem. “So we were going to go for that.”

(snorts Eden is going to get so flustered when V asked her about it. lol. I’d pay to see that interaction.
Except, not really because I’m cheap.)

(Oh, yes. You’re not wrong. She totally is going to get super flustered. XD)

Sterling’s POV:

“Pizza sounds good. There’s a nice place not too far away, too,” I mused with a nod. “Eden, you good with pizza?”

Eden’s POV:

I looked at Sterling before nodding.

“I’m okay with that,” I responded quietly, leaning into his side.

(sorry, we went out for dinner with some family friends.)

"Sounds great." I offered them both a smile. "Lead the way, then, Sterling."
