It took me a moment to respond, my cheeks flushed, heart pattering helplessly. “Um—we could—Do you know how to play guitar?”

Gray's POV:
I shook my head, kissing her forehead lightly.
"No," I murmured. "I don't."
(I’m… out of ideas lmao
What should they do?)
(I have absolutely no idea! What if they start asking each other questions?
Also…
NOT IT)
(Hhhh)
(Sure
Maybe later V could paint him? Or would that be too long and boring?)
(What if… V already has like, a half-finished painting of Gray, and he finds it?)
(Oooooh sure
Maybe she’s making him hot chocolate, since that’s sort of her thing, and he finds it?)
(Works!)
Kk)
As Violeta was in the kitchenette, making a mug of hot chocolate, light played across the floor, distorted by the designs on the diaphanous curtains. A particularly bright spot happened to fall on a canvas, angled away from Gray.
(You put it in third person. xD)
Gray's POV:
I was about to take a seat on a chair when my eyes fell on a canvas. It was turned away from me, so I couldn't see what it was, but I became curious right away. I'd never really seen what she drew, so I was excited.
However, what was on the canvas completely threw me off. It wasn't anything random.
It was me. She'd painted me.
(Sorry, I did that becuse I was no longer describing Violeta, but their surroundings)
It was painted in small but impressionistic brush strokes, pastel colours swirled to form the shape of Gray, cross-legged on a patch of ashphalt. Though the sky was bright, and it was daytime, stars had floated down and settled around his shoulders.
(It's all right.)
Gray's POV:
I looked at the painting in amazement. She… painted that. Painted me. I'd never felt so… wanted? Treasured? I didn't know how to feel. It was beautiful. Was that how I looked in her eyes?
There were still blank patches of canvas, as the painting was unfinished, but the parts that were done had evidently been painted down to the last detail with the utmost care. She’d somehow managed to capture his beautifully genuine laugh on that day that they’d spent together, the first she’d heard from him.
Gray's POV:
I furrowed my eyebrows, my fingers trailing the painting, specifically my face. Did I laugh like that? She had managed to paint something like this? From what Gray gathered, she'd been painting this one for a while. Before they kissed.
How did he manage to be comfortable with her that he ended up cracking a mask?
I returned to him with a steaming mug in each hand, a carefree smile on my features. Just as I was about to hand his cocoa over, my eyes fell on the painting in his hands, and my face blanched.
Gray's POV:
My eyes immediately locked with hers, amazement clear on them.
"When… did you paint this?" I asked hesitantly.
I set the mugs down before I could drop them, my eyes darting away from his.
“The morning… I started it the morning of the day you kissed me.”
Gray's POV:
I set it down gently, stepping closer to her so I could cup her cheeks and press my lips against hers for a quick kiss.
"It's beautiful," I whispered softly. "I'm… amazed. I can't even… You're amazing, Vy…"
My eyes widened in surprise at the softness with which he spoke, the amazed delight.
“Does it really mean that much to you…? I thought you’d be mad…”
Gray's POV:
I furrowed my eyebrows, tilting her head a little.
"Why would you think that?" I asked, trailing my thumb over her lips. "Why would I ever get mad at that? At you?"
“I thought… I thought you’d think I was weird… or you didn’t appreciate me drawing the first time you laughed in front of me like that..” I swallowed. “It’s stupid, I’m glad you like it.”
Gray’s POV:
She drew my first laugh? God, this woman was just amazing. Was it possible for a human like her to exist?
“I didn’t think anyone looked at me like that,” I admitted. “I didn’t think I looked like… that in your eyes.”
“Really? This painting—It doesn’t do you justice. Doesn’t even come close to how I see you—how you are.” I reached up to cup his face, tracing his lower lip with my thumb.
Gray’s POV:
I clasped her hand in my own, pressing a kiss on her palm, my heart twisting at her words.
“Thank you, Vy,” I murmured, pulling her close so I could wrap my arms around her. “You’re amazing…”
I sank into his embrace, soaking up the feeling of being cared about, being cared for. “No, you’re amazing..”
Gray’s POV:
I laughed.
“Am I, though?” He murmured, pressing a soft kiss on her neck. “I think you’re miscalculating.”
(You switched perspectives lol)
I flushed, leaning into the contact. “First rule of this relationship—you’re not allowed to under appreciate yourself.”
(Oh no 🤣)
Gray’s POV:
“Then it would only be fair if the same applies to you,” I said as she leaned into me. I hugged her tighter. “You’re not allowed to think little of yourself.”
(XD it's fine)
"Debatable…." I murmured, the flustered smile never leaving my face.
Gray’s POV:
“No, definitely not debatable,” I said, kissing her head.
