It’s partially my fault, someone made a Cool Cat reference in the inside joke chat and I told them that I got the joke, and everything just went nuts from there.

Fine. I'm stupid stressed with school and stuff. Mostly cause my friend wants me to draw a picture but the picture makes no sense and certain things she wants me to incorporate in it I can't do.

Well, that sucks. Hopefully she can explain it better or you're able to figure it out! What stuff do you think you're not going to be able to incorporate? Also I'm on lunch break currently trying to do digital concept art but it's been a while since I did digital…

I’m painting simple Valentine’s Day things for my mom and it’s so much fun to just slap some pink on a canvas

So she wants me to draw a picture of her and a character of hers. The guy is supposed to be on one knee like he's proposing and holding her hands. And she is sitting on a couch holding a blanket. It seems simple enough but she wants a profile shot of it and the blanket is really difficult to draw with those kind of elements. And why the heck would the guy be holding her hands rather than hugging her?!?!?

Oof. I just remembered I still need to get my mom something. Her birthday is on Valentine's Day so it becomes this weird holiday-notholiday thing for my family because the two tend to sorta cancel each other out.
Also Soup Nana, and why is she holding a blanket if the guy is supposed to be holding her hands? I do get holding her hands though, because usually the one proposing is holding the other's hands or holding a ring box.

Other people: Digital art is too easy! It's not real art!
Me: Digital art is a pancaking pain and I've spent 26 hours on a drawing that would take me 3 if I had just used a pen and pencil

Why the pancake would it not be art? I literally could have had the drawing I'm doing done in an hour if I'd done traditional! Digital is so hard because there's not friction on the screen and half the time pen pressure doesn't work and so many other things can go wrong because technology.
