"Oh…" Kale huffed. "Do you want us to stay with you until you're ready to come out then?"

Jordan shrugs, "Whatever dude."

"Well I doubt we'd be allowed to stay the night here so my question was pointless anyway." A hint of annoyance could be heard in their voice and they laid their head on their hand.

Jordan laughs, "Funny."

"Glad you're well enough to find humor." Kale grumbled. "Well while we wait, I at least want to do some more exploring. It has been so long since I have been outside and everything has changed so much, I'd even like to find an open field and just lay in the sun. But whatever, I'm flexible, I'll do whatever you guys want."

Jordan nods and closes his eyes again, "Bye guys. "

"You really want us to go?"

Jay stayed quiet.

"If you guys want to."

"Tell us what you honestly want Jordan, I feel like you're hiding things again."

"Wtf?" Jordan opens his eyes again

"That got your attention." Kale took a deep breath. "Can you honestly say that you do not want any company right now, if so then we will leave. But I don't think you should be alone when you're not well."

"You just said you wanted to."

"You should also know that I am a very emotionally confused person and don't express things well." Kale turned to look at Jordan with a genuine smile. "So, what are your plans for the future?"

Jordan had a very confused face, "Wow. Turned right around eh? I dont have talents. So I dunno."

"I'm sure you do have a talent, everyone is talented at something or other." Kale thought for a moment. "You like reading books right? Become an author or a journalist or something!"

"Ha! No. My only talents are stealing, sarcasm and annoying people."

"Become a politician! Sorry, a bad joke."

"You ass." Jackson laughs

(You're mixing your characters a bit there honey XD)

"In any case there is still pleeeeenty of time for you to decide what you want to do. Hell you could just be a 'stay-at-home-dad' kind of person."

(Woops. Hey. Multismtasking hard! )
"Dad?"

"Well I don't mean like an actual dad, there's a thing called a stay-at-home-mum who's a woman that stays at home instead of working, so I thought you might consider being a stay-at-home-dad since you're not a woman. Unless being an actual dad is an option you'd think about, but then the stay at home bit would still apply whether you were actually a dad or not. Does that make sense?"

Jay was just starting to laugh hearing the conversation.

"What is going on?" Jordan looks around for help, "I know what that is. Thanks. But… still."

"What's going on is that I'm thinking we need to have more weird conversations like this." Kale grinned. "As hard as they are to actually pull out of nowhere, they're fun right? Tell me they're not fun!"

"Are you ok? I mean. I guess? I dunno what you mean again…"

"For the first time in twelve years I have freedom, I can be who I want to be, say what I want to say, and do what I want to do. So yes, I am okay, and I'm even better knowing that you two are stuck with my random comments." Kale's lips formed a very sly smile. "Not that I'm going to be like this all the time, I think it's just a sudden rush of everything. I'll probably go back to normal when the excitement has died down. So before that happens we need to do as much questionable crap as possible with you in this hospital." Kale's face suddenly turned serious, realising what they had said could be taken way out of context. "Forget that last part."

Jordan was already trying to hold back laughter but at that he exploded. He rolled around in his bed laughing his head off. He clutches his stomach after a while but cant seem to stop

Kale half smiled with a light sigh. "I've never seen you so joyous."

"I hate my mind." Jordan chokes, rolling to face the wall. He was still laughing his head off
