:3 do y'all have any wholesome stories?
I have a wholesome story about how I met my best friend
Let us hear it Father
Here are the birb memes! Give them a watch!
Yay!
Okay so basically it was either the first day of kindergarten or the first day of preschool but basically, I was a very timid child who did not want to leave my mom's side when we arrived and immediately started crying when she tried to leave. I was scared shitless of the other children there, specifically, I was mostly scared of the boys and how they rough-housed. I had much anxiety, even as a tiny child. I was also very gentle and curious. I hated play-fighting.
Then this girl, same age as me, just randomly came up to me and grabbed my hand to get my attention. She had this beautiful, bouncy-but-coarse blonde hair and these brilliant blue eyes that absolutely lit up my world.
She asked me what my name was, and shared hers. Deborah. Lovely little Deborah distracted me from my worries almost immediately. Right after our introductions, I shared why I was scared once she asked.
I distinctly remember her turning to my mother and saying, "Don't worry. I'll protect Lee for you. I'll fight all those boys to keep them away!" and with that, pulling me along behind her, we went off to explore our new temporary home away from home.
But the thing is, she did.
She fought them.
All of them.
She defeated any boy who thought they could hurt me and drag me around like a toy since I was so timid and weak.
I was hers and she made sure all the other kids knew it.
I remember how her hands would always have callouses because of all the fighting, and how mine were always rubbed raw from showing her how much I cared, whether it was from patching her up to catching myself when I fell while running, pushing myself to get back up because I knew she would come find me.
She always did.
To this day, we remain best friends.
Awwww that's awesome! It's great to have friends like that!
You told me about her! She's sweet!
Yeah… she's honestly the best person I could ever have started a friendship with.
And now here we are.
I thought so. Sounds like a keeper!
She sounds amazing! Everyone deserves a friend like that
She is. We're going to the same college together and sharing a dorm.
She was also very accepting of me when I came out to her, even though her family is pretty religious.
I asked her not that long ago what she identified as and she admitted that she honestly didn't even know. She never had a boyfriend ever. There had definitely been guys interested in her but she turned them all down.
She's questioning now, as far as I know until we get to talk like that again.
I see. Well I hope you guys have a fun time at college, Lee, you deserve it. So does Deborah. She seems truly special!
I saw Wicked the Broadway show a week ago and It made me really happy
YAY FOR RELSEY!
Ohhhh I’m so jealous
I’m glad you enjoyed it, though!
Hey Ravens!
Hello!
How you doing?
Good! I had a piano recital an hour ago. I played Burn from Hamilton.
I screwed up a few times, though. I think I did okay, although I know I could’ve done better. Maybe if the recital had been a month later.
I bet you did good.
A linguist and a pianist! You're so talented.
