(Gosh, you made me yawn…)
Rose hummed and glanced around for a moment. “Okay. Well, I’ll be in the living room doing my homework if anyone needs me, then.”
“All right, hun. Let us know if you need any help, okay?” Lilah said, moving around Cameron to hug him from the side.
Their daughter nodded and headed to the living room, pulling her books out of her bag as she sat down.
(Lmao I yawned whenever I wrote that. Maybe we’re tired?)
Cameron grinned and nodded. “We’re right here!” He looked down at his wife again, planting a kiss on her head.
“What’s up? I wanna hug back but I have laundry.”
Tobias had already headed upstairs to his room, shedding his bed and diving into bed.
(What? Me? Tired? Pft, never…
I’m going to ignore Tobias shedding his bed…)
Lilah shrugged and reached up to kiss his cheek. “Nothing, babe. I just wanted to hug you. Can I help with the laundry?”
(Ugh I was tired ok)
Cameron smiled and took her lips as he always did. “Sure thing. Just upstairs. I think these are yours.”
(Lol. Don’t worry about it. It was just funny.)
“Mm. Okay. I’ll go up there and wait for you, then. Unless you planned on joining me right now?” Lilah said, pecking him again quickly as she took the basket from him.
(Lol, thanks. I try,)
Cameron blinked as she took the hamper, opening his mouth to protest. “Why wouldn’t I come with you?”
(Lol. ;P)
Lilah shrugged and chuckled softly at his face. “I don’t know, babe. I was just teasing you.”
(.p.)
Cameron gently took back the hamper, smiling faintly. “Right. Well, let’s go upstairs and put these away.”
(Wanna do some sibling interaction?)
(Sounds goood. For what?)
(Hm… Maybe they’re the last two left in a game that everyone was playing?)
(Hmmm… maybe they’re playing Uno?)
(Ooh, that’d be fun. Lol.
Should I start, then?)
(Okie doke.)
Rose sighed and placed a red “skip” down on the red 1, and then a red “draw two” on top of that, and then a red 2.
“Draw two, Tobias,” she said, sounding utterly bored.
Tobias took two cards from the pile from on the couch, his long arms drooping off of the couch to play. He rummaged through his cards and set down a draw 4 color change.
“Draw four. I choose yellow as our next color.”
Rose scoffed and drew four. “It’s still your turn, smart one. Keep going, would you?”
Tobias scowled lightly at her from where his face was squished. He slapped down a yellow 2.
Rose glanced down at her cards and placed down a yellow 4. That was her last yellow card… Hopefully she could change the color next time.
Tobias ruffled through the cards and set down a yellow skip card then a three. He had a lot of yellows.
Rose let out a slow breath and searched her deck for a three. Nothing…
She picked up a new card, found it to be a red 3, and placed it down with a grin.
Tobias frowned, searching for a three or red. He had a red reverse card, but that was pointless. He reached into the deck and pulled a few cards before grabbing a green three and setting it down.
Rose clicked her tongue and set down a green 9. She had mostly reds and greens, a few blues, and no yellow…
Tobias huffed and pulled out more cards, coming out with a other color change. He set it down and pronounced yellow again.
(Wait, if it was just a regular Wild, then he wouldn’t get to take the next turn…)
(Oh. I haven’t played Uno in a while.)
Tobias huffed and pulled out more cards, coming out with a other color change. He set it down and pronounced yellow again.
Rose sighed and drew another card. Not getting anything she needed, she drew another. And then another. And then…
She smirked and laid down a Wild Draw 4. “Red, dear brother,” she chuckled softly, laying down a draw 2 and then a 7.
“Dang it,” Tobias hissed as he drew six cards. At least he had more of each color, and he had pulled out a few skips. He set down a red six.
