"I really thought it was right." Ferran mumbled. He glanced begrudgingly at Alanna. "Okay maybe it WAS left."

"Do you recognize me, kid?" The man asked. He had a gruff voice that Carter struggled to remember.
"No."
"Neither did your brother. I suppose it's been a while. How old are you now? Nineteen?" The man asked. He seemed amused. "Though, it was harder to get your brother. He's not as weak as you."
"What are you talking about?" Carter asked, not even trying to hide his confusion and distain for the man. "My brother's dead."

Alanna smiled smugly, “C’mon, let’s go left.”

"I cannot believe I am following you." Ferran muttered.

“I heard that!” Alanna said, jumping over some barrels in the alleyway.

Mirage walked through several walls, quietly observing before stopping. Should she go back and try to get Carter? What if they started torturing him?

Ferran peaked around the corner, scanning the outside of the apartment for guards. "Do you hear anything, Al?" He asked Alanna quietly.

“Yeah Carter’s in there. There’s guards. 44 of them.” Alanna answered.

Ferran sighed. "Fantastic." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "Can you hear Mirage at all? Or can you not pick that up because of her powers?"

“There’s nothing air can’t feel or hear.” Alanna smirked, “She’s walking through the walls.”

"I'll call her to let her know we're here." Ferran stated as he reached for his phone. He dialed and held it up to his ear, waiting for a response.

Alanna nodded and continued on listening.
