Shit shit shit, Mika thought, picking up the pace a bit as he made his way down the hall. A few students still lingered by lockers, but not many. I'm going to be late, he thought, panicking slightly as he rounded a corner. His legs itched to run, but he didn't want to risk getting caught by a teacher and getting a detention. The school was strict with small things like that.

Jace was walking quickly down the hallway he knew he was going to be late but hoped he wasn't late. His next class was on the other side of the school and there was only a bit of time left. Jace was walking without looking, he wasn't paying attention till he felt himself knock into someone and fell to the floor.
