I've been working on my stuff for a long while now…. So I think it's mostly time more than skill…

So the main thing to know about this world is that there are dragons, and the ability to talk to dragons is considered rare and valuable. People who can speak to dragons flock together and form hidden societies in the middle of nowhere that act as refuge for dragons. Most of these people also form a bond with a specific dragon at some point in their lives, and they act as partners in battle, and life in general. Dragons are a very intelligent species and were placed on the earth by the twins Aedrek, god of art and innovation, and Fuerr-Dev, goddess of power, magic, and wealth.
People outside of these societies tend to have more negative attitudes towards dragons, often regarding them as either dangerous or exploitable for resources (rumor is their blood has healing properties, that sort of thing). The thing is, even though they were created by literal gods and are superior beings to humans, the morality of all of the gods is up for debate, and many still do believe them to be vile creatures (I mean, yeah, I have a dragon kill like 30 people in the first chapter of the story, but it's fine…)
Uhhh I have a list of all of my gods. Religion is sort of a big deal. It's integral to everyday life, but most people are pretty chill about it. Except for funeral rites. Funeral rites are extremely important.
I'm thinking of having different dragon species that were created by the twin gods in the image of the other gods (so for example, a fire dragon was a creation inspired by Teinefríd, the god of fire, enlightenment, and peace). I'm not so sure about it yet though. I think I need a better explanation for why people want dragons dead first…
There's other stuff, I just haven't written it down yet because I never seem to be in the right place when I come up with things.
