Kaseys eyes flickered open slightly as his voice got nearer and his breath fanned across her face. She blinked at his proximity, her gaze flicking between his eyes and his mouth before she narrowed her eyes and smirked.
Ducking away, she turned to grab her purse and walk out of the room. "I'm not sure if you deserve it after that," she teased, speaking over her shoulder.
“Oh, so now you’ve gone cold?” Barry, not about to let her tease him and get away with it, crossed the living room in five long strides. “Would you answer change if I did… this?” He reached toward and slipped his arms around her waist, pulling her backwards and cushioning her fall with his body. Boeing his head, he brushed a slow, tempting kiss across her neck.
Kasey gasped a shuddering breath at the kiss, and she bit her lip to keep anything else from escaping. "N-no… No, it wouldn't," she answered weakly.
Not one to give up, Barry began to trail kisses down the length of her neck, enjoying their change in pace. “What if I did…. this?” Carefully, so as not to hurt her, he allowed his teeth to graze over the spot where he’d first kissed her.
"Barr… Gosh…" Kasey breathed, her breath catching in her throat.
He knew what he did to her… He knew it and he exploited it. The man was wicked, but not in a bad way. No, it was a wicked that made her toes curl and heat flush her completely. A wicked that left her wanting more with every kiss, every touch. He left her craving him desperately, so that she wanted nothing more than him.
"You are such a manipulator," she breathed, her voice trembling slightly.
It was so easy to tempt her like this…… a single kiss left her melting in his hands. He’d be lying if he said that he didn’t enjoy it, that he didn’t live for it.
Barry did it again, harder this time, before pulling away completely and giving her a wink. “But, like you said, maybe I don’t deserve it after all that teasing. Up to you~”
Kasey groaned, this time in breathless exasperation. She brought her hands up to rub her face, trying to get rub of the intense blush coating her cheeks.
“I hate you,” she muttered, her voice muffled by her hands.
Barry chuckled, voice still low and retaining hints of the growl he’d let slip against her mouth. “C’mon, let’s not leave your brother waiting.”
“Yeah, yeah…” Kasey mumbled, finally pulling her hands away from her face and shouldering her purse. She purposely kept her back to Barry as she put her shoes on and grabbed her keys.
“You’re adorable, you know that, right?” Barry asked, still determined to tease and fluster her. God, the adrenaline rush she gave him… he could live off that and that alone.
“Shuddup…” Kasey muttered, her cheeks flaring red again. “Haven’t you teased me enough today?”
“Never.” Barry realized that he’d forgotten his shirt in his room and ran back to pull it on, returning with purposely ruffled hair.
Kasey huffed, rolling her eyes good-humoredly. When Barry returned, her cheeks were much less pink, and she could finally look at him again.
“You ready, now?” she asked, spinning her keys around her finger.
“Mmhm. I’ll try to refrain from distracting you too much while you drive.” He grinned, slipped on his shoes and coat, and was out the door.
“Shush, you,” Kasey scoffed, shaking her head as she stepped out after him, locking the door behind herself.
Barry laughed quietly as they made their way down to the parking lot. He climbed into the passenger seat, flashing Kasey a teasing grin.
Kasey stuck her tongue out at him playfully, starting the car. “Harper’s place is about half an hour away. Do you want to pick some music?”
“You pick,” he offered, “I don’t think you like the stuff I listen to.”
“What? Why wouldn’t I?” Kasey asked, glancing over at him quickly before backing out of the parking space and heading down the road.
“It’s older stuff,” Barry explained, “Beatles, Rolling Stones, etcetera.”
Kasey shrugged and shot him a quick smile. “Play it. I don’t mind listening to something you like.”

“If you’re sure…” Humming, he connected his phone to the car and selected a song by The Rolling Stones.
(I… hate… autocorrect… sigh)
About half an hour and a few songs later, they arrived at a small apartment complex. Kasey parked nearby and hopped out of the car.
“All right, lets go get my cat!” she exclaimed excitedly.

Barry climbed out of the car, coming around the front of it to lace his fingers with hers. “I still can’t believe that The Mask lives in this apartment complex..” he murmured under his breath.
“Shh! Barr!” Kasey hissed, glancing around wide-eyed. She sighed and looked back at him. “There are people who want nothing more than to hurt him…”
"That's why I whispered, Kase," he sighed, "And we're the only ones in the parking lot."
“There are people who have enhance hearing… You may never see them, but they can hear you,” Kasey mumbled, her face hearing up in slight embarrassment as she realized he was right. They were the only ones there…
Barry sighed. “Sorry. Now come on, your cat’s waiting.”
“No, I overreacted. I’m sorry. But, yes, let’s go get Ginger,” Kasey said softly, smiling up at him.
Barry let his girlfriend lead the way, eyes trailing over the interior of the building.
