"Uh…" Jordan was blank. He never cared about that kind of stuff

"June seventeenth, three minutes to eight." Kale mumbled.
Jay heard what they said because of his excellent hearing due to his blindness "day of the week" he asked.
"Wednesday." Kale always made sure to keep track of the days as a way of keeping themselves sane.
Jordan looks down. He sighs, "Guys It isn't going to work."
"alright. Tommorow. 6 I believe, based off of that annoying clock downstairs. The grocery truck will arrive. They take a half hour. And never shut their truck or the back door till the are done. Maybe we leave then?"
Jordan shakes his head but doesn't say anything, "And if they see us? Then what? They have weapons."
"It's worth a shot, though I'm not expecting it to work." They turned to Jordan. "Just because you failed on your own doesn't mean you'll fail with help."
"only one person guarding. Based off of the floor creaking." Jay responded.
"That's deep man." Jordan smirks at the other non blind guy. (I WANT HIM TO GET SHOT OR HURT OR SOMETHING! Preferably for the others XD I'm weird… And torturous.)
(Also brb)
(You want whom to get shot??)
"Yeah well i'm not wrong. You have tried and failed roughly 67 times and each time you were alone. That's the number one rookie mistake in my eyes."
Jay moved and sat down on the floor where he was.
(Injured or shot by the guards. My character. Sorry if that sounds selfish. It does to me.)
"Like I said. It's not going to work. With or without a team."
"You're welcome to believe that, you're also welcome to stay for the rest of eternity, But we are going to make the effort with or without you."
"yeah. Because we wish to be free." Jay said looking in the direction of the floor because he didn't exactly know where everyone was.
"It's freakin risky but if we focus then we should make it out." Kale's voice trailed off as they thought they heard someone in the hallway. Their voice became a whisper. "We shouldn't speak about this so openly."
"well technically I think we are in a closed room. But also I agree. Doors are thin."
"I think it's best if we don't hang around each other much until then. I'm sure they've already noticed our unusual behaviour and I don't particularly want a housemaster up in my face again for 'looking suspicious." Kale moved to the door, smiling sadly. "If you need me, shout." They left the room and broke into a run down the hall.
Jordan was to say the least confused and speechless. He just stared at the blind guy for a moment with his mouth wide open, "What?!"
"I have no idea." He said.
Jordan shakes his head, his temples starting to throb a on coming migraine. He holds his head in his hands, rubbing his palms to his eyes
Kale found a group of kids hanging out under the stairs and recognised one of them to be the person who tripped Jay. They stood with their hands in their pockets, just staring at the kid from the opposite corner, trying their hardest not to attack him.
Jay nodded at Jordan then walked out of the room and back to the room he lived in.
The boy made eye contact with Kale and froze up. "You should be careful." is all Kale sighed before wandering off. It had been a while since they had explored the orphanage because houseparents watched their every move. And that day was no exception, as soon as Kale tried to enter a room, they were escorted back to their room. The door was closed and everything was silent.
"Jay?"
"Hey there Kale!" Jay said laying on his bed doing nothing as usual.
Jordan lays back in his bunk, his hands behind his head. His brain was going haywire as he thought about the escape
"What were you writing earlier"
"No idea, I may know how to write slightly. But I have no idea." Jay said then sighed.
"What was that sigh for?" They sat down at the foot of his bed.
