"And I love you for it. I can do the flirting for the both of us," he teased, plopping down on the bed and holding out an arm to her.

"Well, sometimes I wish I could flirt back," Kasey said with a shrug as she laid beside him, cuddling into his side. "Not that it matters that much, but it would be fun."

"You'll learn," he murmured, pressing an affectionate kiss to the top of her head. "But for now—ice cream."

"Mmhm… I'm excited for this," Kasey chuckled, reaching for the container.

"Highlight of my day," he joked, sending a wink Kasey's way.

Kasey rolled her eyes playfully and grabbed a spoon that magically appeared because we forgot to mention that they grabbed them. “This is going to be so good,” she hummed, smiling as she opened the tub of ice cream.

“Mm,” Barry agreed, grabbing his own spoon. “As long as you let me kiss the extra off your lips.”

Kasey blushed deeply, ignoring the statement as she dug her spoon into the dark ice cream. There were swirls of chocolate throughout the dark chocolate, and bits of fudge were scattered in it.

She hummed contentedly as she put the spoonful in her mouth. This had been a good choice.

Reaching over her shoulder, Barry scooped a sizeable helping of the ice cream onto his spoon and lifted it to his lips.
"Oh yum."

“I think I found my new favorite ice cream,” Kasey chuckled softly before taking another bite.

"Same here," he chuckled in agreement, taking another scoop.

Kasey smiled up at him around her mouthful of ice cream. This was the life, that was for sure. Lazing about in bed, eating chocolate-crammed ice cream with her boyfriend… Yeah. This was absolute perfection…

Barry grinned back, reaching down to wipe a smudge of chocolate off her lower lip. "This is really good, Kase."

(Lol. Same. I want a boyfriend who’ll do stuff for me like Barry and Seb and Gray and Sterling do for their girlfriends… Unfortunately, I don’t know any guys worth dating… sigh)

Kasey blushed a little at the action, then swallowed the rest of her ice cream so she could kiss his finger before he pulled away.

“I know… I would eat this all day,” she chuckled softly.

I know a guy worth dating but he probably doesn't like me back… rip)

"This whole scene right here is every university student's dream, you know," Barry laughed quietly, tugging her closer.

(Aw… Well, I’m sure you’ll find someone who loves you. 😁)

“Being in the arms of a man she loves is everything a girl wants,” Kasey agreed, reaching up to kiss him gently before she took another bite of the frozen dessert.

Barry leaned back against the pillows, reclining in a half-seated position. He tugged Kasey back against his chest, pulling her onto his lap in the process.

(Lol. I certainly hope so…)

Kasey choked back a giggle as she was moved, then snuggled into him. She sighed happily and set her spoon in the ice cream container.

"This is seriously perfect," she said for the umpteenth time that say.

“Agreed,” Barry answered, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “Best day ever.”

“Did you just quote Tanlged at me?” Kasey asked, laughing lightly.

Barry paused, blinking owlishly. “I…. did?”

Kasey laughed again and kissed his cheek. “You’re funny sometimes… You didn’t realize what you said, did you?”

"Best.. day.. ever..? Oh!" Barry smacked his forehead. "Right, yeah, sorry."

Kasey chuckled softly and pecked his lips lightly. “You’re ridiculous, Barr. Anyway, shall we finish our ice cream? It’s going to melt if we don’t eat it.”

"Yeah," he agreed, leaning over her to scoop a large spoonful of the ice cream into his mouth. "Yum."
