"Mmhm." Barry closed to distance between them, kissing her gently before pulling away. "Right, we've got a sappy love story to watch."

Kasey chuckled softly and scooted closer to his side. “It’s a funny movie. I’m sure you’ll like it.”

Barry pressed a kiss to her temple, entangling his legs with hers and tucking her up against his side. “Shh, it’s starting..”

Kasey rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around him the best she could. She loves times like these, just getting to watch a movie or something with the love of her life… It was amazing.

Barry leant his head against her shoulder, his warm breath brushing across her skin as they watched. He reached for her hands and intertwined their fingers, a peaceful smile overtaking his expression.

Kasey smiled at his actions and squeezed his hands gently. She relaxed into him, letting the movie take over her thoughts.

Kasey yawned and stretched out as the credits rolled, then turned to Barry with a smile. “So? What did you think?”

“It was…. cheesier than I am. Which is exactly why I loved it.” Grinning, I reached over to ruffle her hair.

“Hey!” Kasey laughed, reaching up to fix her hair. “It is pretty cheesy, but I love it. Just like I love you.”

Blushing lightly, Barry flicked her nose. “Love you too, sweetheart.”

Kasey scrunched her nose up when he flicked it, then stuck her tongue out at him. “Should we just go lay down, now? Or… I suppose we should probably get prepared for next semester, huh? It starts soon, doesn’t it?”

“Yeah… but we just moved in. One evening of relaxation, then we’ll get to work.” He gave a small shrug and a smile.

"That seems like a good plan," Kasey agreed, grinning back. "So how shall we spend our relaxation, then? Maybe play a game?"

“Mm, sure. And lots of cuddling. And eating.” Barry grinned, running a hand though his hair.

Kasey chuckled softly and nodded her agreement. "Yeah, that sounds like a great plan. We could play Uno in bed while eating ice cream?"

“That,” he murmured, “Sounds fantastic.”

“Good,” Kasey chuckled softly, reaching up to kiss his cheek quickly before starting toward the kitchen. “Which ice cream do you want?”

Barry followed after, grabbing hold of Kasey’s hand and kissing it. “Anything with chocolate. Lots of chocolate.”

"Hm… I think we have triple chocolate fudge in here…" Kasey trailed off as she searched through the freezer. "I bought it because we seem to have a small, mutual obsession with chocolate and it looked amazing…"

Barry pumped a fist. “Yessss, have I told you how much I love you?”

Kasey giggles as she grabbed the tub of frozen dessert and pulled her head out of the freezer. She turned to Barry and held the dark brown container out to him.

“Behold! The mystical super-duper chocolaty ice cream!” she declared, grinning.

(I wanted to apologize for not writing in Barry’s tattoos, powers, job, backstory, or guitar playing for so long… I’ll start soon I promise)

Barry blinked, staring first at his girlfriend, then at the icing. “Kasey…?” he ventured, obviously teasing. “Did you hit your head?”

(Lol. It’s fine, dw about it. XD I honestly forgot about Kasey’s tattoos, anyway…)

Kasey scoffed and swatted at him playfully. “No… I’m just a little excited about today…” she mumbled, her cheeks reddening in embarrassment as she realized how strange her outburst had been.

"I can tell." Giving her a lopsided grin, Barry plucked the container from her hands and started towards the bedroom. "C'mon, Miss Crazy."

“I’m not crazy… Unless it’s crazy for you,” Kasey mused softly, a small smirk making its way to her lips.

That was really cheesy…

Hush, I know. I can’t flirt.

Yeah, I can tell…

Barry let loose a light laugh, biting back a huge grin.
"That was so cheesy… but I love it."

Kasey chuckled softly and poked him in the back as they reached their room. “Yeah, yeah… I can’t flirt, okay?”
