She returned the smile, her eyes sparkling. "We still have to get married."

@KalamariCakes

He opened the curtains that closed off their bed from the rest of the room, and tied them to their respective bedposts. "Nervous.. In a good way?" He replied.

"You could say. I never thought this would happen to me either…"

@KalamariCakes

He sat on her side of the bed beside her. "I can only imagine the kind of anxiety motherhood would bring you," her fiancé replied sympathetically.

(understandable XD)

Pierre took the man by the shoulders and gently pushed him back down. "He's gone with Cruz. They took him."

Panic flashed for a brief moment in his eyes. "They took both of them?" Geoffrey croaked. A heavy sympathy pulled Edonine's face down.

(Ahhh the Andrane baby)

Pierre could only nod, pain etched into his face.

@KalamariCakes

Geoffrey placed a hand over his face. He couldnt bear to have his friends see him tear up.

(Do you want to switch to crussel and rupees (my autocorrect version of Cruz and Louis)?

She smiled, and it was clear that she was very tired. Suddenly her smile faded. "What if I'm an awful mother?"

@KalamariCakes

"Jane, what did you say to me just a minute earlier?" John took her hand. "You'll be fine. If anything, you have your own mother to ask for guidance." He reassured, voice softened and consoling.

She nodded. Suddenly her eyes lit up. "I'm going to be a mother!"

"Yes. Would you like me to make something?" she asked, throwing the sheets off.

@KalamariCakes

"N-no," he half laughed, "No, I'll make breakfast for you," John spoke, especially fretful over her abdomen, where her child was– even though the labor of making breakfast was light and virtually harmless, John had never had a child; he didn't want to make any unknowing mistakes.

She pressed her lips into a smirk. "John… I can make breakfast…"

@KalamariCakes

He shifted his weight, smiled sheepishly. "Don't overwork youself," he posed it in more of a question. Oh boy, only a day into fatherhood and he was already going soft.

Deleted user

"I'm not overworking myself by making breakfast," she stated, her eye glittering with contained laughter.

Deleted user

"What would you like?" she asked, looking at him earnestly

She nodded. "I think we should have eggs," she remarked, heading into the kitchen.

(Lol, And sure)

@KalamariCakes

Louis had been moved, tied to the same pole Cruz was to make room for more rebel captives. They'd been stuck there overnight in the bitter cold, Cruz couldn't feel his hands or feet or face anymore. All he could taste was snot.
"You– y'know," he spoke in a trembling voice, "Where I grew up, in Spain," he continued, voice chopped with shivers. "It would get to over a hundred degrees in the summertime. In Cataluña,"

She laughed. "I'm fine! John, I'm hardly pregnant, okay?"

"Just thought I'd ask.." He smiled lovingly.

She returned his warm smile and vanished.

@blue_topaz

The large man, normally so imposing, now sagged against the pole between them, his body wracked with shivers. He coughed, choked, spat out a bloody wad of phlegm, and offered a weak smile. “That sounds nice…”
