Jane giggled furiously. "Excited are you?" she asked, pressing a kiss on his lips.
"Existentially." He breathed. "Oh, there's so much to think about, to consider, now…!"
She smiled happily. "Do you see why I didn't want to tell you in a letter?" she asked.
"I see now," he hummed. "I'm glad you waited.."
"Me too," she replied, kissing him briefly. "You're adorable."
He began to sway with her, "I never thought smething like this would happen to me.."
"Think again," she teased, rocking with his movements.

(A, if you're letting me choose.)
Awesome!)
John didn't sleep at all. His head was buzzing, too alive with excitement and anxiety, to sleep.
Jane woke up and yawned. "John? Did you sleep at all?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
He blinked his glassy eyes, smiled sleepily. "I can't.."
"Oh, John…" she laughed and rolled over so she was right next to him and snuggled against his arm.
"You consume my thoughts now. More than ever." John embraced her.
She breathed in his scent and sighed. "I love you."
"I was thinking all night about being a father," he spoke quietly. "Wondering if I would be a good one."
She raised her head and looked at him. "You'll be a wonderful father," she assured him, kissing the corner of his mouth.
"Well, Jane, I've never spent more than five minutes around children," John sat up fully, pushing hair from his eyes. "I have hardly a scrap of experience," he sounded so worried, so fearful. "I don't want to.. be a belligerent influence unintentionally,"
"Uh!" she grunted, pushing herself into a seated position as well. "My love, you're worrying too much. It will be fine."
He sighed slowly through his nose. "And I was also thinking of names," he smiled. "If it's a boy, may I name him?" John requested.
"Of course," she purred. "What would you name him?"
"Mm, Peter," John replied candidly, brushing hair from her forehead.
"A lovely name," she replied dreamily.
"Well, what would you name them if they're a girl?" John asked.
Jane thought for a moment. "Lydia," she finally replied. "I'd name her Lydia."
John's face softened. "Lovely. For now I'll clal them Roo," he decided—just a pleasant, gender neutral name, much better than referring to his forming child as "them".
"Roo. How sweet," Jane purred softly.
"Roo must be the size of a pea," John guessed with an ecstatic smile.
