Elizabeth got her swords out. She didn’t actually want to fight, but she was prepared to defend herself. Nothing too bad could happen.

Ryker looked behind him. He saw Elizabeth get her swords out and felt a bit calmer. "Glad you could join us," he said to her. One of the Cyclopeses swung at him and he ducked.
