He smiled. “Gladly,” he said.
(Sorry I keep taking so long to reply.)

She smiled and held onto his hand, messing with his fingers. "Have you ever gone sky diving?"

(This was my last reply.)

Ryker looked down at his hand. "What are you doing?" he laughed.

"Shh, don't question it." She grinned at him. She kissed his hand then rested their clasped hands on her chest.

He laughed. "Okay, I won't," he said. "And to answer your question, no I haven't. I haven't left camp since I got there."

She smiled. "Wish if like say the same. But my father sends me to this prestige school after summer." She sighed.

“That, that’s not good.” Elizabeth said.

"No not at all" Alex said quietly

"Trust me, you probably don't," he replied, a little sadly. "This is the first time I've been out of camp for…" He looked at the beads around his neck. "seven years. After that long, it's like a jail."

She looked up at him. "You don't have anyone to go home too?" She asked.

Elizabeth sighed, “Why do we keep on having unfortunate events?”

Kaden sighed. "We're demigods, what did you expect?"

He stared at the wall. "No," he said with gritted teeth.

“I dunno.” Elizabeth shrugged, “Wait what makes you think this leads to the Labyrinth?”

"You should come home with me then. Well, not hime, just a luxurious mansion that I happen to stay at when I'm not at camp."

"A giant tunnel that doesnt seem to have a beginning or an end and I just have a feeling that this would just be our luck" Alex said

He shook his head. "Camp's safer for me. When I was away I got attacked a lot. Probably has something to do with the whole 'kid of war' thing." he said. "I don't know. I think I'll just make the most of being away from camp now."

"Shouldn't we go back for Ryker and Phoebe?"

"If you ever want to get out if camp for a little while, you can always come to mine. There's a hot tub, and an indoor pool, and slides. Mostly all built so I wouldn't bother father."

“Oh yeah we should?”

"We should but can you do it Kaden?"

"Why do I have too?" He whined.
