"Looks like your first time." She said laughing. "I'm Zara." She said sticking out her hand.
"Looks like your first time." She said laughing. "I'm Zara." She said sticking out her hand.
"Kristina," She said, shaking her hand and smiling lightly. "I try not to sneak out too much..my dad would get suspicious, he always goes to the town meetings.."
Zara laughed. "My parents wouldn't care." She said shrugging. "Ya wanna hang out?" She asked.
"Sure," She said, smiling as she looked around "As long as we don't get in too much trouble."
Zara frowned. "Awww come on!" She jokingly wined. "Trouble is my middle name. It's fun. Is sneaking out of the meeting the first bad thing you've done?" She asked, slightly concerned.
"Nah, I just don't want to be caught." Katherine said, shrugging her shoulders and grinning.
Zara stopped in her tracks and let her mouth fall open. "What? Kristina! Come on! Have you even gone out after curfew?" She asked in disbelief.
The mayor droned on long enough that some of the adults started to look bored. Perfect he thought.
Zara stopped in her tracks and let her mouth fall open. "What? Kristina! Come on! Have you even gone out after curfew?" She asked in disbelief.
"N-no.." She said, looking at the ground embarrassed. She looked up at Zara and smiled weakly "I know I'm a little goody two shoes.."
Zara shrugged. "It's fine. Not many people do. Not with that devil of a woman running the town." She said waving her hand at the meeting hall.
"Yeah..she's a pain to say the least.." She laughed and started walking again "Where are we going?"
"Anywhere we want." Zara said. "This is your first time sneaking out and I want to reward you. How about we go to the bakery and get you a tart of something." She suggested.
"Sure," Katherine smiled and started off towards the bakery, glancing at Zara.
"Okay than." She said as she headed in the direction of the bakery. She didn't have any money on her but that didn't matter. The baker was at the meeting and the bakery wouldn't be open but that didn't matter.
Katherine looked around, shoving her hands in her pockets as they walked.
Zara looked at the closed bakery when they got there. "Comfertable with breaking and entering as well as some stealing of pastry's?" Zara asked Katherine with a smirk.
"Um..sure," Katherine said with a small grin, "If we don't get caught I'm good."
"That's the funny thing." She said walking around to the side of the building. "You never know if your going to get caught." She said as they reach a latter leading up the side of the building. "You ready?" She said looking at Katherine, grinning.
"Ready as I'll ever be," She replied, gesturing for her to go first. She stretched her hands and smiled lightly.
Zara smirked and began to climb up the latter. She got to the roof and waved Katherine up.
Katherine scrambled up after her, reaching the top quickly. "This is fun," She said with a smile.
Zara grinned at her. She knew that look. She had that same feeling when she broke into the somewhere for the first time. The thrill. The accomplishment. She waved Katherine over to an overlight window and opened it.
“You’re idiots.” said the voice of a male.
Behind them was a teenager. He didn’t look like much, but his eyes were sharp.
Zara turned around slowly. She grinned. "What?" She asked innocently.
Steven glared at her. “You think just vanishing off and committing crime is a good idea?”
Zara shrugged. "Nothing I haven't done before." She said. "And who are you?" Zara asked, curious.
He stared at her for a second. “Steven.”
"Well 'Steven' would you like to help us?" Zara said looking down the open window.
Katherine went silent as she watched the man carefully.
