(It's fine. ;D)
She brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear and mumbled, "No."

She brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear and mumbled, "No."
"come on, I know you better than that, tell me" he propped his head on his hand and waited
"My chem grade isn't the greatest," she muttered, not looking at him.
"oh….I could help you if you want," he hesitated, knowing that she hated help from anyone
Marina pursed her lips. "I don't know…"
"well if you need help, I'm here. always." he reassured her, falling silent as class began
"As we discussed yesterday," the teacher began, "we will be completing our labs. Make sure to read the procedure before you get on with it. We don't want any mishaps…" She trailed off and gave a hard look in the direction of Castiel before continuing. "The lab papers are in the center of your tables. Let's get to it."
He ducked his head in embarrassment as he heard kids snickering but got up and grabbed a paper for both him and Marina
Marina glared at the kids who were laughing and accepted the paper from Cas. "What do you wanna bet I can hit Matt Paylot from here with a water flick," she murmured under her breath.
He cracked a smile "I owe you dinner." he smiled
Marina aimed and formed a small drop of water at the tip of her finger. In one quick motion, she flicked it across the room and innocently accepted her paper from Cas.
"Hey!" could be heard from beyond her vision and she smirked.
He smiled down at his paper "I guess I owe you dinner."
"I guess you do." Her eyes glittered mischievously.
"oh no….oh no no no no no…I know that look" he said with a smile "you're going to make me cook aren't you?" he groaned in protest
She laughed. "Only if you want to. I like having food that's not burnt to a crisp…"
"Welp, I'm sorry if I can't cook…" he grumbled
She nudged his arm. "I was teasing…" she said softly.
"welp I'm sorry if I can't cook." he smiled boyishly "I'll try but I can't promise anything decent."
She grinned and walked away to get a container of zinc powder for the experiment.
He started to read the procedure, seeing that it included chemicals, though not all too flammable "aw." he groaned "nothing fun anymore."
She came back, placing the plastic container between them. "What was that?"
"me complaining" he waved a hand dismissively "nothing to blow up." he said with a smile
She arched her eyebrows. "You think that's a back thing? You wonder why the teacher stopped picking experiments involving Bunsen burners…"
He rolled his eyes, all teachers knew to keep flames and heat away from him, the knew about his power, no one but them and Marina. "those were fun." he said whistfully, conjuring a small dancing flame.
She snuffed it quickly. "Don't," she hissed. "Five thirty – they're staring…"
He looked up and smiled "fine." he looked at her sidelong and smiled as she read the procedure
She finished reading the paragraph, she looked over at him to see if he'd been paying attention and noticed his gaze. "What?" she asked, looking to the other side, then back to him.
He shook his head "no nothing, sorry, continue." feigning interest in the work, stealing quick glances at her when she wasn't looking
She filled in some of the tables on the sheet and looked over at him again. "Do you know how to do this?" she asked quietly, pointing at an equation.
he looked over to the equation and nodded. He explained the process of the equation to her and went back to his own paper
