(I'm cool with that.)
Zol swallowed the last of the food. He quickly washed it out in the stream, and hurried back.
"Let us be off."
And he led them out.

Zol swallowed the last of the food. He quickly washed it out in the stream, and hurried back.

Citra hoisted her pack up onto her shoulder, striding out into the sun. She sighed as the warmth hit her and she tilted her face upwards. "A beautiful day." she murmured softly to no on in particular.
He smiled at her. "The wonder of nature made by divine will always hold breath taking beauty."
Piper swung her bag on her shoulder, and began to walk beside Frost. The sun felt good on her skin; down in the Ocean, the sun barely filtered through. It was a luxury in itself to see and feel the sun.
Citra stuck her tongue out at Zol, bumping him with her hip. "I merely spoke of the sunshine! Not the very earth itself."
Zol looked shocked by he gesture. He could not understand what sticking out a tongue would mean. Maybe something from her culture.
But he brushed it away and laughed. "But would the light have beauty without something beautiful to shine upon?"
"I dont know Zol" said Frost " but I do know that I love sunshine just as much!" She walked happily next to the others.
"Indeed," Zol said, "Perhaps the light is our greatest gift."
"I'd definitely say so!" She said noting some strange marks on the side of the track.
Zol watched her eyes. "What have you found."
Zol watched her eyes. "What have you found."
Zol watched her eyes. "What have you found?"
Citra glanced over, curiously. "Some kind of….paw print?"
Frost went over to them and inspected the tracks. "There are wolf tracks here… but they look…." she trailed off as she moved a little further, her eyes tracing the various scrapes and halfprints along the trail. "These aren't normal…." she said
"Monsters?" asked Zol, "Or werewolves, like yourselves."
"I'm not a werewolf!" said Frost a little offended, "The werewolf would be my cousin not me! And as for these tracks they could be like me, but they could also be full bloods. Judging by these tracks they should be nearby too."
Zol dipped his head. "Apologies.
"Need we worry?"
"Depends" said Frost, "I can't tell how many there are from these tracks, for all I know it could be a small group or an entire pack. Plus we have no way of knowing if they're hostile or not…"
"Then let us be wary," Zol counseled, "but not hostile ourselves."
"Probably a good idea" said Frost as she began walking down the track once more, keeping her eyes open for danger.
Piper peered over at the tracks. They certainly looked like some kind of tracks, but she wouldn't know. She didn't have a clue about any animals above land, since she lived in the Ocean all her life. "What is a…werewolf?" she said, the words sounding strange on her lips.
Zol gazed at her. "I have heard tell of a tale of men. Who can change to the form of wolves. Rather like our friend Frost."
"Are your people nomadic?" Citra asked curiously. "Like wolves? And how are you not a werewolf if you shift between forms as such?" Always too curious for her own good she was unaware that she might be asking offensive questions. She wasn't particularly worried over danger either, she found, which was odd as she was usually weary over everything. She wondered if perhaps the company she was in made her feel more protected. She slid a glance to Zol, but turning before he could see her blush.
"True, But their form is more of a cross between human and wolf, and werewolves are always bipedal no matter what the form." she said " that and most werewolves are insane, and usually very dangerous. I say most because one of the exceptions is my cousin."
"Oh," Piper said. She realized how dumb she sounded, turning pink. "Sorry, I don't know too much about the ground world," she said sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Though I would say that dangerous is not inherently bad." said Zol, "Some of our company are dangerous. And I am glad of that fact."
Frost turned to Citra to answer her questions. " Well I'm not a werewolf because Usually werewolves are formed through a curse or magical anomaly. My ability to shift between wolf and human forms is natural, and a result of bloodlines." She said "And no, most wolves aren't nomadic. At least not in large groups. See most Fullblood wolves live in packs. and those packs are divided by species and each pack has it's own land. Then you have rogues, those kinds can be nomadic but it depends… they sometimes control small territories as a loner or in small mutual groups. or they can be nomadic and travel around a lot. Then you have Riders and Halfbloods, Halfbloood wolves, Which is what I am by the way, can be pretty much the same thing as rogues or they can live in packs, occasionally you'll find them in Rider sects, but that's rare. And lastly Rider sects are almost always nomadic but they will be in certain places at certain times of the year and will almost always travel in small groups.
But last of all are what's known as a rogue Wolfpack. that is what you call a sizable number of Wolves, sometimes of several different species and sometimes only one, that is independent from other packs. they often have no leader but work in small groups or separated sects in a larger territory, but sometimes they act like an official Wolfpack, That and rogue Wolfpacks are usually have hybrids, Halfbloods, humans, and sometimes even Riders in them."
Zol listened intently.
"And as for Dangerous werewolves I did mean that" she said seriously, "Believe me I've encountered them before and they are usually very aggressive and they will attack you on sight. not to mention they happen to have powerful auras and they know how to use 'em…" she had finished talking, but she did trail off a bit as she went over to a tree and reached for something, pulling down a black arrow. and nearly dropping it in shock when she got a good look.
(I'm adding another plot twist.)
Citra had been listening so intently trying to catalog all of the information she was receiving that she hadn't noticed when Frost walked off. "That is a very interesting dynamic and way to live. Your species is fa–what is that?" She said finally realizing what was happening as she looked at Frost's shocked face.
