"Yes, she's fine. If you think you can walk, she'd probably be super relieved to see you." She offered a small smile.
"Yes, she's fine. If you think you can walk, she'd probably be super relieved to see you." She offered a small smile.
Ace nods and sits up slowly. He winces slightly and stands slowly, wobbling a little bit. He grabs a nearby crutch for support and nods. "Please. I think it would relieve both of us." He mutters gently.
"Alright then, let's get moving before she has a heart attack." She chuckled softly, starting for the door.
He nods and followed after her, excited to make sure Becca was okay. Or anxious. He wasn't sure why he was feeling at the moment with all the pain meds in him.
She travelled down the hall quickly, opening the door to her sister's room. "Hey Becca." "Is he okay?" "I thought you might ask that, so I brought him with me." She stepped aside for Ace to step through.
Ace stepped through and smiled gently. "Hey love." He walks over to her slowly and settled on the chair beside her. He kissed her hand gently. "How are you feeling?"
Considering all the needles and wires attached to her, probably not well. "Like shit. But I expected that." She coughed roughly. "What about you?"
He smiled a little. "I'm a little better. Nothing I can't handle." He says softly ad he gazes at her gently. He adored her. It was extremely obvious through the way he looked at her.
She smiled a little, happy he was okay. She opened her mouth to speak but exploded into a coughing fit, the heart rate monitor starting to beat faster. "Hey hey hey, relax. Don't push yourself." Kelsie gently pressed her sister back into the pillow, Becca slowly relaxing again.
Ace smiled a little. "I'm not going anywhere." He assured gently and kisses her forehead. He settled into the chair and smiles a little at the other in an assuring manor.
"Right, I'm gonna go explain to Mom why you're in here. Don't do anything stupid." Kelsie kissed her sister's forehead and headed out again, leaving the two alone. "And then there were two."
Ace yawns tiredly, the meds in his system messing with him. He took Becca's hand in his own, squeezing her hand gently as he rested his head on the bed, using his other arm as a pillow.
She giggled softly. "You can come in here, you know." And she wanted to feel his warmth again, it'd help her relax.
He nods and carefully climbs into the bed, being cautious of both their injuries. He kisses her cheek gently before wrapping around her protectively.
She gently rested her head on his shoulder. She already felt better now that he was back by her side. "I'm sorry you got dragged into this." She muttered under her breath.
"Don't be, baby." He kisses her shoulder, holding her close. "Never be sorry." He whispers. "You're perfectly fine." He rubs soothing circles on her hip, glad to have her back in his arms. Ace brushed some hair from her face. "God, you're beautiful…"
She cracked a small smile. "For a gang leader, you're rather optimistic." She giggled softly, just watching him.
"We're not all edgy teens, you know." He says, chuckling quietly. He kisses her forehead before looking around and sighing happily.
"Hey, I don't know that!" She smiled before waving a hand over his face. "This handsome face and heart stopping smile could all be fake."
Heh. Hi! Do you want to continue, love. Or should I leave this alone?
Noooo! Don't let it die, I love it too much!
Alright! Yay!//
He chuckled and took her hand, kissing her palm gently. "Never." He mutters. "This would never be a mask in front of you." Ace smiles softly and leans forward and kisses her forehead.
"You're too sweet to me." She giggled. However, all the wire and needles stuck in her hand brought her back into reality. She'd dragged him into this. This was her fault. She shouldn't have gotten him involved. Her entire mood dropped and she tugged her hand back into her chest.
Ace noticed the shift in attitude before he settled beside her on her bed, wincing faintly. "Babe. What's wrong?" He asks gently, his hand going to brush away a stray piece of hair.
"Nothing, it's nothing." She waved off his concerns. Like usual, she cut everyone off from her problems. After being silent about them for so long, it was hard to talk about them.
Ace nods, knowing not to pressure. "You know I'll always be here, right?" He asks, kissing her cheek. "You're my beautiful sunflower. There is no way I am going to let you suffer alone anymore." he whispers gently.
"I like forget-me-nots better than sunflowers." She giggled softly. "Just thought you should know." She loved this caring side of Ace, the one only she got to see. It just made her heart melt.
"Alright." He says gently, kissing her shoulder. He hummed happily, appearing very relaxed. He gave a soft sigh and nuzzles into her warmth.
"You should probably get back to your room, if the nurse comes in and sees this then she's going to start yelling." She sighed heavily.
Ace shook his head. "It's fine. I'm not leaving your side again." He mutters softly. Ace smiles and holds her close.
