Emma stuck out her tongue in concentration, one finger pointed towards the sodium, and the other towards the chlorine, while her head was focused on the sulferic acid. "Now, fuse!" she commanded. The reaction was instantaneous: the beaker in which the sulferic acid and the mix of sodium and chlorine had exploded, the salt turning black as the glass was scattered around the room. "Holy fucking shit," she breathed, pulling out a piece of glass from the wall right next to her head gingerly. "I… didn't think the explosion would travel so far,"

Flora was blown back by a random explosion. (Emma's) "Ow!"

Emma pushed up her thick goggles. "Oh sweet Jesus, are you alright? Are there any holes in you about this big?" She mimed a hole in her stomach, pinching her index and thumb fingers together. "Shock can cause loss of pain, you know,"

"Um… everything hurts, but I absorbed the damage."

Aidan jumped as he heard an explosion from the classroom next to his. He rolled his eyes, lying his head back down on his desk and zoning out.
