Euric walked up to the door, double checking this was the right address nervously, then knocked.
(From today at 3:10 to December 31 I will not be on Notebook.ia. I'm going to Colorado and I won't be on at all unless I can figure out how to get it on my phone and even if that happens I will be on very limited. I'm sorry. Merry Christmas and Happy holidays everyone!)
(Have a good trip, Shadow!)
Euric walked up to the door, double checking this was the right address nervously, then knocked.
Camie excused herself from the conversation with Dominic and went to the door. "Hi, Euric! Come on in!"
As soon as she saw Camie, nervousness settled away as she jumped into her real persona. "Greetings everyone!" She announced while strolling in. "Thanks for inviting me– is that Pentatonix? I love them!"
"It is!" Camie assured her with a grin. "Snacks in the dining room, drinks in the kitchen!"
(Moxie isn't at the party yet.)
(I'm coming right now)
Moxie took a deep breath. She reached up and knocked on the door quickly, as her fingers tapped against her leg.
"Thanks." Euric walked into the kitchen. "Wow, hey, new people I don't think I know. My name's Euric, nice to meet you."
Camie opened the door yet again. "Moxie! Glad you could make it!" she said happily, gesturing for Moxie to enter.
"Thanks!" Moxie smiled and went in the door. She looked around, not really recognizing anyone she knew well.
“Sup Moxie!” said Dominic, “I heard you love Dear Evan Hansen. It’s my favorite musical.”
“Oh really?” Moxies eyes lit up. “I love Dear Evan Hansen! I actually saw it over the summer.”
He froze. “Oh. My. Gosh. I haven’t seen it yet. In fact,” he confided, “I only know the plot from Wiki and tumblr posts. But I love it so much.”
“That’s okay,” Moxie said, shrugging. “That’s how I know most of the plots of musicals. I like to listen to the soundtrack and read the plot on wikipedia at the same time.”
“So just to clarify, you got to see Ben Platt? And all the others?”
“Oh no. No I wish,” Moxie said quickly. “The only people of the original cast that I saw were Laura Dreyfuss, and both the moms.”
“Too bad Michael Park wasn’t there. He’s awesome.”
“Yeah. He actually was still in the cast, but I saw a Sunday matinee and his understudy was playing Larry.”
“He was great in Tuck Everlasting.” Dominic grabbed another handful of sweets, “You into that one?”
“Oh my gosh.” Moxies eyes widened. “ you know Tuck Everlasting? I love Tuck Everlasting.” She was smiling.
“Have you read the book through?” he asked urgently, “The book is the best.”
"No, I haven't. It's good though?" she asked. "I should read it?"
"No, I haven't. It's good though?" she asked. "I should read it?"
“Definitely. The book is far better than the musical. Like, the one thing that really bothered me was the portrayal of the man in the yellow suit. He was a kind of “stupid villain “ while in reality he was almost diabolical.” He frowned. “Also there wasn’t any Hugo guy either. At least, not as an important character.”
"Huh. I actually like Hugo, though. I mean the marriage part was a bit . . . I don't know weird. But his songs were catchy. Or at least I think so," Moxie added.
Can I invite myself?
(I have invited you! Fill out the template and hop on in!)
Camie looked around. People were talking, eating, and having fun. She relaxed with a deep breath. It was actually working.
