Eris slipped through the door with a casually shy smile. She stands near a wall and observes, getting a feel for the party before actually jumping in. She knows she needs to relax before taking the plunge or else her anxiety will fly through the roof. She waves happily at a few people she recognizes.
Dominic sees her and smiles. “Hey Eris! I didn’t know you were coming!”
"Neither did I until about a half hour ago." She says, running a hand through her hair and returning his smile, remembering how she had a long conversation with herself about the merits of coming on the drive over. "It is nice to see you though!"
“Heck yeah. You’re one of my favorite people on this site since I came rather recently.”
He looked at Moxie. “We were just discussing Tuck Everlasting, the book and musical, along with musicals in general. You interested in any of that?”
After stumbling majestically up the flight of steps to the party she was invited to, Emi poked her head into the warm room. Her parents had dropped her off from her hometown. She felt giddy and excited to see her friends, but nervous and slightly put-off at the outfit she chose.
Eris blushed at Dom's comment, but casually brushed off her pleased embarrassment as she answered, "I've read the book and seen the movie but I never thought it would be made into a musical." She considered for a moment before finishing with, "I do love theater though I'm more of a fan of the classics."
Dominic noticed her blush with a self consciousness grin. Sheesha it’s not like I’m that amazing or anything. “I love the book, I have only seen like three minutes of the movie so I can’t say that much about it. The musical was pretty good, and I listen to the soundtrack when I can. But I would rate them book, musical, movie.”
On second thought he added, “What do you mean by the classics? Like Sound of Music or more Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby?
I’m thinking of White Christmas around now.” He added as an explanation.
"Oh I did not mean classic musicals." Eris says, realizing she did not explain herself correctly. "I meant classical plays themselves. Shakespeare and all that."
“Ooo!” he exploded, “I got to see As You Like It live! My friend was Audrey.”

Euric stood there, completely ignored. "Well whoop-dee-doo I'm standing alone in a room full of people. Is that not the story of my life," she mumbled. It didn't really bother her, so she trotted up to Moxie, Eris and Dominic. "Hello people!" She waved largely and kind of obnoxiously at the three people.
“Well hi!” said Dominic waving far more energetically than was reasonable.

Midnight joined the crowd of now four people. "What's going on?", she asked curiously.
Euric waved her arm as largely and quickly as possible. "Hi! I don't think I know you, I'm Euric!"

“Oh it’s okay,I barely know anyone myself. I only got here a couple months ago.” He paused, “Tell me about yourself.”
Euric thought for a moment. "Umm, well I'm in many roleplays, I love musicals, books, TV shows, and anime, so I'm in a lot of fandoms. I have pretty much no preference on what pronouns people use for me because I believe the value of gender falls below that of being human, but I normally just use she/her."
"That's cool!". Midnight said. "I like roleplays, musicals, books, and anime too!"
Dominic turned to Midnight. “Which musical is your favorite?”
"Um… that's hard… either the Lion King, Hamilton, or It's a Wonderful Life."
