"My dad is a half-Blizzaron wolf," she said "His name is Avalanche"

(Blizzaron not Bizzaron XD)
"A blizzaron wolf is basically an Ice wolf," she said looking up, "They live in arctic enviroments and are Ice elementals…"

"That…that is a very hard one to explain…." she said looking up from her work.

Piper's stomach grumbled, and she groaned silently, not wanting to confront the others. But she would have to eventually, and then she could use eating as an excuse for not talking to the others, especially Zol. Piper stood up, and peered at her reflection in the water, seeing red eyes and stained cheeks. Maybe I shouldn't of rubbed them so much, and I do wish I hadn't cried.

In one last attempt to make it seem like it was okay, she splashed water on her face, the saltiness stinging her eyes. Guess I have to go eat, she thought dreadfully. Walking as slow as possible, Piper made her way up to the cavern.

Citra glanced toward the cavern entrance, frowning. Piper should have returned by now. Because of the life debt owed, Citra knew that Piper was okay physically and not in any peril, but she was still concerned. Quietly, she packed up a portion of the food Frost had made, waved and mumbled something about going outside to her companions in the cave, and ducked out into the night.
She didn't have to go far before she literally stumbled into the other girl. "Oh, Piper. Thank goodness… I uh, brought you some food." She held it out in front of her.

Piper's head jerked up. "Oh! Citra." She sniffed the air, and sighed. "That smells good. Thank you so much!" She took the food from Citra gently, and tore a piece off, popping it into her mouth.

Citra watched Piper for a moment, unsure if she should speak, but the girl was a hybrid similar to her so that should bridge the gap….right? She opened and closed her mouth a few times before finally plucking up the courage to speak. "Are you alright?"

Piper munched slowly, and then swallowed the piece of food. "Define 'alright,'" she said, plopping down on the ground. She patted the spot besides her, beckoning Citra to sit.

Citra folded herself gracefully next to Piper. "I suppose it would be…that in your heart you know that you are or will be okay?" She cocked her head to the side ad she leveled a gaze to her companion.

Piper swallowed thickly, and suddenly she wasn't hungry anymore. "Then I don't know if I'll be alright, to tell you the truth." she gazed at Citra, eyes blank. "I lost something even the Ocean doesn't know how to regain."

Citra reached on and gently patted the girl's arm in comfort. Her own eyes echoing the deep rooted sadness in Piper. "What is it you have lost?"

Piper felt numb. "My darkness," she crossed her arms, suddenly cold. "Zol overpowered me, since he's pure light and I'm only half dark." Tears started to form at her eyes, and she rubbed them stubbornly. No. She would not cry in front of Citra.

Citra could not contain the gasp that hissed out of her throat. She was unaware such a thing could happen. She had never heard stories of such within her city, but then again hybrid's were usually killed as soon as they began showing signs of impurity. Her heart went out to Piper. She did not know how she would feel if she lost either her flame or darkness. They were apart of her like her very name. She did not know how Piper was handle such a loss. "I am so sorry…I cannot begin to understand your pain."
Right then, she did something she had never done before, she reached out, wrapping her arms around the other girl and pulled her in for a tight hug. "You will find your way again." She said softly, unsure why the words tumbled from her lips but felt in her heart that they were true.

Piper sat shocked for a minute, but then hugged her back, squeezing tight. She tried to contain the tears as they rose again, but found that she couldn't as a sob racked through her body. "I-I ho-hope so," she stuttered out. finding it hard to form words. Piper felt lost without the familiar darkness coursing through her veins. It was like she was a compass without a sense of direction. She knew she couldn't go back to her cove; halflings were Untouchables.

Citra pulled back to look deep into Piper's eyes, again that unknown force guiding her words. "Perhaps this is what your journey is about. Finding yourself again. Gaining what you had once lost. Do not lose hope, for you have a strong heart." Her gaze softened, and she squeezed the other girl again. "I will help you my dark sister. Not because I owe you a debt, but because I believe in you."

Piper felt Citra looking deep through her eyes, but she left her emotions to show through them unguarded. Something in her felt like she could trust Citra, and not have to be on guard all the time. It was a wonderful feeling. "Thank you, Citra. Even though we are half-opposites, our shared darkness pulls us together. And for believing in me, that is the greatest gift you can give." She smiled at the other girl.

Citra blinked a smile like dark sunshine flashing across her face and she squeezed Piper again. "You are welcome. Would you care to return to the cave? Zol looked…quite upset."

Artemis looked over to where the others were and sighed, it looked as if they had created relationships already. The situation reminded her of her hometown. She hadn't seen her parents since the attack and was getting extremely worried.

Citra blinked a smile like dark sunshine flashing across her face and she squeezed Piper again. "You are welcome. Would you care to return to the cave? Zol looked…quite upset."

Piper's eyes turned down once Zol was mentioned, but she agreed nonetheless. "Yes, but I prefer not to talk to Zol. Maybe you can talk to him? You two seemed quite close," Her tone grew teasing at the end of her sentence, and she playfully nudged Citra with her elbow.
