((ahem my apologies. allow me to amend my blunder, my friend. Thomas should find subfloor 10 because he's sneaky and awesome.))
hahaha I'll drink to that//
Thomas narrowed his eyes, counting the floors and rooms as he flicked through the cameras. Wait… there was something off here. Pushing away, the boy made his way to the elevator and pressed his finger to the cracked button that everyone just assumed was out of order. His eyebrows raised as the button lit up and the elevator began to move
Morgan fell through the air, annoyed. Kydah always lectured her about this. She knew her friends did it because she cared. And that she hated the fact that Morgan was purposefully putting herself in this position. But still, she got enough lecturing from her dad.
Morgan phased straight through the floor instead of hitting it, only yo pop up right in front of Kydah again a few moments later, their faces inches apart. "Oh–Shit. Sorry. I–", She hadn't meant to come up this close. She always lost track of where she was while underground.
Kydah's face and the tips of her ears were bright red. My lesbian ass can't handle this. She thought as she broke out in sweat. "Umm… Erm… Eh…. It's o-okay." She managed to stutter out.
The elevator door opened and Thomas stepped out, their closeness being the first thing he saw. He felt an unexplainable twist in his chest and backed up slowly, feeling sadness well up inside of him. Why was he sad? It didn't matter… they obviously wanted to be alone. The boy abruptly whirled around on his heels and re-entered the elvator, pressing a random button without thinking
Morgan whipped around at the sound of the elevator. No one else should– "Thomas?" she asked, shock blushing her cheeks, she darted a few steps forward before she remembered why she was down here. What the hell is happening today?
Thomas worked his jaw back and forth as the elevator rose, stopping on a random floor. On autopilot, the boy jumped out of an open window and soared up to the roof, landing and rubbing his eyes. Why did that affect him so much? It wasn't because it was a girl… he didn't give a fuck about that, so why did it matter so much to him?
Morgan shook her head, frowning. Anger ripping through her for reasons she wasn't sure of. "I'm sick of fighting." She told Kydah as she barreled into her friends arms, desperate suddenly for touch. There was an odd tingle as their skin met and Morgan's ability tried to absorb Kydah's power, but nothing happened, as usual. Somehow her best friend was immune. Tears burst from her eyes and she shock uncontrollably, finally letting go of all her pent up emotion and pain. The power burst from her searing the walls and making the tower above sway. She held her friend tighter and screamed.
"Erm… There, there?" Kydah said she was never good with emotions, perks of being raised in a cult-like warrior tribe. She pat her friends back, making sure her armor was still there as she comforted her friend.
Thomas felt the tower sway a bit and was on his feet immediately on his feet, falling down the side of the tower and darting inside. He knew exactly what had caused that and all doubts were thrown out the window as worry for his friend rose up within the boy. He leapt into the elevator and spammed the button, willing the elevator to go faster as thousands of scenarios passed through his mind.
Kydah is just going to see him and flick him off.//

"CHRIST ON A STICK" I AM ROLLING OH SHIT GIVE ME STRENGTH//
Morgan realized what she had done a moment too late, but she was too tired really to care. Her migraine had completely vanished and her body felt like hers again, but she remained withing Kydah's embrace, tightly holding her in thanks rather than desperation now.
The doors opened and Thomas ran out, seeing Kydah akwardly holding a limp Morgan, "Morgan are you alright?" he asked, only worried about if she was okay, at this point not giving a shit who she was hugging.

Kydah glared at Thomas, somehow sensing that he was the reason her friend was sad. "Fuck off." She said in a commanding tone.

Thomas raised his hands up, "Woah there, Chowder." he said, "I'm just seeing if Morgan is okay, yeah? No need to be rude,"
In case you're wondering why he called her Chowder: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/chowder/images/7/77/Chows2.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/310?cb=20180120223853 //
Morgan abruptly came back to the surface of her mind. She pulled away from Kydah and took several steps away, she'd been craving touch and now it was too much. She hugged herself, her gloved hands squeezing her sides. "Thomas?" she asked warily, realizing it was indeed him who was standing with them.
Thomas took a step forward, though not too close as to make her feel uncomfortable, "Are you okay?" He asked again, "I felt the Tower shake," his voice was soft, soothing
Wait… Fenris, they're in a secret training bunker that no one but Judah, Morgan, and now Thomas know about.//
oh shoot sorry imma delete that post then//
Morgan blinked at him slowly, trying to process what he had said. The emotional and power release that had just taken place had taken a lot out of her mentally. She shook her head to clear it and then gave him her classic Stark smile. "Oh! You know…just a normal day! Average power release and what not." She said, bushing her hair out of her face. Her hands were shaking terribly and she tucked them behind her back so he wouldn't see. "I'm fine." she chirped, her apparent casual nature, not reaching her eyes.
Thomas frowned, noticing the small things. He had been trained to be observant, noticing everything. He pressed his lips together, grappling with himself whether or not to respond. He wanted to gather her up his arms and just hold her, comfort her, but he was honestly confused on what was going on between her and Kydah. His blue gaze kept flicking to the armored Avenger behind him, not sure what to think
Jasper sat on the couch and rested. He knew what he put Morgan through wasn't right, and that he should apologize, but right now, he needed to rest. "Chesh? Owen?" he called out to the empty room, hoping that one of them was around.
Chesh made her way into the living room. 'Training' seemed to be done so she made her way back in. She heard someone call her name and looked to see Jasper. "Yes?" She said making her way over to the couch.
Morgan, shifted a tad bit uncomfortable with the way Thomas was staring at her. It was like he was the mind reader and could right through her charade. She reached forward, with a smile that still didn't reach her eyes, and grasped his hand. She suddenly wished that she could touch him without her gloves on, skin to skin. He just looked so warm.
"I'm okay. You more than anyone know how this gets." They both were veteran Avengers, being here longer than the others close to their age. Not to mention that he had been the one to witness her going catatonic the first time her powers got overwhelming. She glanced to Kydah, begging with her eyes for her not to say a damn word. Sh doubted her friend would listen though.
Owen opened his door and looked out of his room. He hoped who ever called wasn't mad at him or looking for him.
