"Yay!" He said excitedly

She giggled.
Snape had checked everyone's potions, then the time. "Class dismissed," he sneered.
Jamie quickly gathered her things. "Where's your next class? Mine is Transfiguration."

"History of magic"

"Oooh," she moaned a little. "Have fun!"

"I'll try…."

"Say hi to Professor Binns for me!" she called, waving over her shoulder as she dashed off in the direction of Professor McGonagall's classroom.

"I will." He waved back and headed to History

Jamie made it before most of the other students. Professor McGonagall was at her desk in animagus form. Jamie smiled. The professor had promised to help her become an animagus.

As he got there a group of kids surrounded him laughing at him "Why would you stand up for a Hatstall?"

Jamie sat in the front row alone as the other students filed in.

"Dismissed," Professor McGonagall said. Jamie smiled at her and left the classroom.

Conner walks out of the nurse's office his cheek bruised

Jamie saw him and her eyes widened. "What happened?" she asked, rushing over to him.

"You don't have to worry… Just protecting you is all"

"Too late, I'm worried. What. HAPPENED?"

"Just a group of boys who hate hatstalls"

"What house?"

"all four…"

Jamie's heart beat faster. "Do you know who they were?"

He shook his head " But professor Binns got on to them thankfully"

"What did he do?"

"They have to repair all of the textbooks in class"

Jamie bit her lip to keep from laughing. "That should take care of them for a couple… centuries."

"I know right?"

She eyed his bruise again. "Will you be okay?"

"Yeah. It's not that bad"

She pulled him into a sudden, tight hug. "Thank you."

"N-No problem" he blushes badly
