Raphael hid in his corner, being terrorized by his own mind. He looked around the corner, checking to see if the hound boy was coming after him. Today had not started off well, but it was going to get better. Right?

Eyros came around the corner “ werewolf huh?” he asked with a growl

Raphael stood in the corner patiently, not wanting to get into a fight. It was his first day… he couldn’t be murdered. “Yeah.” He growled. “Why are you following me? What interest am I to you?”

“you're like me, “ he said and sat down, a bit away from Raphael but close enough to talk

Raphael paused, shaking slightly. His blonde hair fell into his eyes. “I suppose…we’re not different. But we’re not similar either.”

“ No One's similar “ he said softly

"What do you want..?" His voice shook. Eyros had scared Raphael to death. It would be a little difficult to build a friendship, but not impossible. Nothing was truly impossible. "Why did you threaten me?"

“ Because I was told something that I now think was a lie..” he said and sighed

Raphael's brow furrowed. He was extremely confused. "What lie were you told?" The werewolf turned his body to face Eyros. "What could you have possibly been told?"

“ I was told you Wanted to fuck me up, and put the omega in it's place.” he let out a soft whine in response to it.
Eyros hated it but his hell hound influenced him greatly

Raphael raised an eyebrow, looking at Eryos like he was insane. Raphael was a scrawny thing. His body was thin and he was smaller than Eyros. One could even see Raphael's ribs if they looked hard enough. "Taking one glance at me…do you really think I could actually fight you?"

“ powers go a long way. “ he said and looked up at the other kid. “ I'm sorry” he said and felt his face flush, but that was just his eternal flame, right?

Raphael pursed his lips, looking at the hound steadily. “I don’t have strong powers either. I have barely any powers.” The werewolf slowly inched out of his hiding spot “I accept your apology.” Even if he was coming out of his hiding spot, Raphael was still wary of Eyros.

Eyros didn't seem to pose a threat at the moment, more just sitting there and waiting for something to happen

Raphael scooted closer to Eyros. “What do you want? I feel unsettled that you keep watching me..” He sat in front of Eyros, hands in his lap, acting like a reflection of him. Accept Raphael was small and emaciated.

“ does it hurt? When do you change? Is it only on the full moon?”eyros was loaded with questions like a small child

“I-“ Raphael wasn’t prepared to be bombarded with questions. Questions about his shifting nevertheless. “Uh, no. It doesn’t. Maybe if I was a bitten werewolf. Maybe then. But I was born this way, so it’s natural.” He flicked his hand and showed Eyros his claws. “I can change when ever I want. I can draw out any feature I want. I am not only tied to the moon. Bitten wolves have those struggles, I don’t.”

“ cool,” he said, his chest glowing slightly “ you wouldn't like it if I changed

Raphael tilted his head, staring at the boy in confusion. "Why not? Isn't it similar." He looked at Eyros closely. "And why are you glowing?"

“ hell fire” he said softly “ I'm cold..” Eyros gave a soft chuckle at them being the same “, no, no it's the thing made of nightmares” he said softly

"How are you cold if hellfire is glowing in your chest? Isn't that—like.. a natural insulator?" Raphael didn't understand how Eyros worked. The boy was confusing to him. Species and personality wise. "How are you a thing of nightmares? I'm a thing of nightmares!" A cuddly wolf wasn't exactly a thing of nightmares.

Eyros grimaced “ strong emotions like hurt and anger can extinguish my flame. Especially sadness. “ he said “ and since your too curious ill show you,” he said and stood, shapeshifting into an almost dire wolf body. The ribs were showing and his teeth were long and sharp. He had a kinda hellish look to him. Flames roared up the exposed bones and his eyes were as cold as a lost soul. His growl made him sound like a leviathan

Raphael looked down at his lap, staring at his hands. "Are you sad? Or angry?" But the werewolf didn't receive an answer. Instead, the boy he had been talking to shapeshifted into a hellish looking wolf. Raphael wasn't really scared of Eyros. He gave the helldog a pat on the head and shapeshift into his wolf form. He was smaller compared to Eyros, sides sunken in and the outline of his ribs showed. He had a shaggy golden pelt that looked as if it hadn't been groomed for years. Raphael was starving. He didn't know how he got here, only that he was in some type of school with a hellhound. He stepped forward, sniffing Eyros.

Eyros sniffed him, giving a slight whine at the state Raphael was in. He started grooming the werewolf right then and there, Making sure to be easy around his ears and face.
Some places he didn't touch, as that was Raphael's business whether it got cleaned or not.
He noticed the boy also needed at least something to munch on. So he nudged the wolf in the direction of his dorm

Raphael gave a small whine in protest as Eyros started to groom his tangled fur. He flicked his ear multiple times in annoyance. He felt like a pup being groomed by his mother. Oh, how did he miss those days. His aunt was never nurturing and threw him in some dumb institution, leaving him with a vague memory of how he got here, but the majority of it was unknown. Raphael protested as Eyros tried to nudge the werewolf towards his dorm. But the problem? Raphael was light. He could put up much of a fight, so he padded to Eyros' dorm alongside him.
