In the year 2077, Jack Harper (My character) works as a security repairman on an Earth left empty and devastated after a war with aliens. Jack has two weeks left before his mission ends and he joins his fellow survivors on a faraway colony. However, Jack's concept of reality comes crashing down after he rescues a beautiful stranger (hopefully yours imao) from a downed spacecraft. The woman's arrival triggers a chain of events that culminates in Jack's nearly single-handed battle to save mankind.

Remember, this is a dystopian future, so we aren't gonna have summer dresses and blue jeans, know what I mean?

@ElderGod-Carrots

Name: Eve Myles
Age: 23
Gender: female
Sexuality: bi-sexual
Appearance: https://pin.it/k5baussgkx3dki
Style: black leggings and knee high brown boots, they’re worn and tattered but do the job. An old white and black shirt with a black leather jacket over the top. She wears an old brown belt with all her essentials strapped to it, flight goggles that are always over her eyes, round her neck or on her head. A satchel string across her middle.
Personality: badass type of gal. She’s sarcastic and can come off as mean and snappish. When she cares for a person she’ll go to the ends of the earth for them and protect them with everything she has. She doesn’t trust easily and is very wary around new people. She’s not afraid to get down and dirty, doing whatever she has to to get what she wants and when she wants it. She really is a kind soul when you get to know her, but not many people do.
Fears: not getting home, being alone for the rest of her life, crowded spaces
Likes: peace and quiet, the stars, planets, learning about new things
Dislikes: tea, loud noises, people who are overly nice
Other: none

Name: Jack Harper
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: He's around 6'0, but is probably on the shorter side of it. He has tanned skin from over a year on the devastated Earth, and a long scar that goes from the back of his head to the middle of his back, noticeable from the fact that his hair would never grow over it. His eyes were a sharp hazel color that would stare right through people at certain times, and his hair was a sun-bleached dirty blonde.
Style: A standard issue white military jumpsuit with a hood and cloaking device installed into it.
Personality: He is the stoic, grew-up-too-fast time of guy. He doesn't say much, so when he speaks he often commands attention. Anytime he's told to do something from someone he respects, he follows it to a T from his years as a front-line soldier.
Fears: Quiet places
Likes: Honest people and safe places
Dislikes: Aliens (duh)
Other: None

Gimme a second for a starter, then we can get this thang going

"What a fucking mess," Jack Harper mumbled to himself.
The only reason why he did this was to try and fill up the emptiness he seemed to have walked into. The town/village thing had been raided. Hard. Like, only one or two buildings still recognizable as buildings hard. The only sound he could hear was the flaming wreckage of the hovercar that he may or may not have just wrecked into a lightpole, the rubble crunching against his boots, and the eerie wind that picked up the dust and blew it into his eyes obscenely.
"What a fucking mess," he repeated, resting a hand on his plasma pistol from a force of habit.
One of the buildings sagged under the weight of itself and fell. Well, you can't really call it falling. It was so slow it almost seemed like an apology, like a "Oh, my bad for this, but it's gotta happen." It was so slow that Jack barely blinked at it. He just continued to walk through, trying to find whatever was left of the security system and salvage the usable parts. If there were any, of course, which he highly doubted.

At first, everything was peaceful. The ship was gliding gracefully through the stars and the suddenly Eve was crashing, hurtling through the sky at top speed and there was nothing she could do about it. Earth was drawing closer at top speed and it felt like she wasn’t going to make it. If she couldn’t slow the speed she’d die on impact. Flames could now be seen on the outside of the ship as they entered she atmosphere and all Eve could do was close her eyes and brace for impact. The ship skidding across the ground, tumbling and rolling and bouncing Eve around inside of it. That was all she remembered before the world went black.

"Oh, shit!"
He watched as the ship came hurtling into the atmosphere, coated by a thin layer of flames as it headed straight to the ground. He felt dumbfounded, thinking for a moment, They've came back for more, shit! but soon realizing it was a human ship.
"Oh, shit!" he repeated as he realized that this downward spiral wasn't on purpose. Oh, fuck, who can survive that?
*BOOM!
It hit the ground so damn hard that the other building seemed to hop into the air for a moment before pitching onto its side and slapping onto the ground. He didn't even notice as he was too busy hauling ass towards the wreck, which was easily a mile or so away. If I don't get there, the Jiorg will, and that will not be good.
He was there in 15 minutes flat, huffing and heaving as he poked a head through the huge hole in the side of the spacecraft.
"Uh….hello?" Yeah, bad-ass ex-military big guy opening up with "Uh…hello?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

It took a moment, Eve slowly regaining consciousness, before a loud groan followed by a, “Fuck!” could be heard from inside the spacecraft. Eve pushed her goggles down to her neck, accessing the damage to the ship and then to herself. A large piece of metal was pinning her leg to the floor of the ship. She huffed a sigh, “Perfect. That’s just fucking perfect.”

He took a step inside of the ship, having to contort at odd angles to get through without touching the jagged edges of the hole.
"God damn…" he mumbled, stepping over some unidentifiable piece of wreckage that could have been a seat…or a control panel….or a bed. It was hard to tell.
The cursing immediately set him on edge, so drawing his pistol was second nature to him. A quick flick of the thumb charged up the plasma, giving off the dangerous eeeeEEEE! that told everyone he meant business. It was the only reason he kept the old hunk of shit.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eve jumped a little, pain soaring through her leg, "Yo, mate! I'm not a threat, I swear!" She called out. The shot had been fairly close, if they moved their gun at least a meter to the left she'd be hit dead on, not really the most ideal, "Kinda had to be a threat with what looks to be a broken leg and you're in no reach of a weapon."

Deleted user

He stared at her for a moment, blinking 5 or 6 times before holstering the pistol.
"Shit, my bad."
His eyes wandered down to her leg, and he visibly winced. This was a man that was nearly split into two and was wincing at wound. That just tells you how bad it is.
"Alright, I'mma get you outta there, okay?" He tried his best at a reassuring voice as he walked over to her and studied the jagged piece of metal protruding from the ceiling that pinned her to the floor.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eve rolled her eyes slightly. Oh how many times she’d heard that and then been left to get herself out of situations like this. She couldn’t even count the times on both her hands, “Yeah yeah, you better, I’m not dying this way.” She looked down at her leg, the ho at the metal going threw her leg. Perfect….

Deleted user

He studied it for a few moments, then sighed. rubbing his hands together. "I'mma have to pull this thing out. It's gonna hurt like a bitch, but I gotta do it."
Wait, huh? Sure the guy looked strong, but not enough to lift up a big ass piece of metal that also doubled as a ceiling.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eve frowned a little but nodded, sill looking down at her leg. She didn’t even have any more medical supplies left on her ship, then again, she didn’t pack many to begin with. Dumbass is the correct word to describe her, “I know. Just get it over and done with.”

Deleted user

"MnnnmmmPH!" The sounds of gears whirring damn near overpowered the sound of his grunt as he planted his legs and heaved as hard as he could.
"PullitpullitpullitPULLIT!" he shouted, the metal raised up a good 5 or six inches after a few moments of exertion, but it was obvious he couldn't keep it up.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eve hissed as the metal moved out of her leg, she knew she didn’t have long, so she moved her leg with both of her arms, pain shooting through her as she shifted slightly, out of the way of the metal. Blood stuck to the end of the metal, dripping into the floor like it dropped down her leg and drenched her leggings.

Deleted user

"UFFGH!"
He dropped it back down with a flourish, then yelped as it landed so close to his foot he felt the air wish down.
"Oh, shit!"
That was because the ceiling began to cave in, so without a second thought he scooped up Eve by her armpits and dragged her out of the room just before everything came crashing in,.
