To the original roleplayers who stayed, you can either keep your same character or make a new one, just let me know which!
That's what they're called. The Glitches. They shouldn't exist, but they do. Feared members of society, who are hidden within the normal citizens, acting and looking and feeling the same as normal humans.
But they're not.
Somehow, everyone has been born with a superhuman ability. It varies from person to person, but every ability can be dangerous if harnessed right, which does not make the government happy. The government wants absolute control, and if they don't have it, well… they get really unhappy. So at birth, each child has a chip embedded in them, so that the government can control them at a moment's notice. Normal people don't think this is an issue. They are willing to do anything for the government who can protect them. Their powers are used for their countries.
And then there are the Glitches. Beings so powerful that they literally fry their chips. This keeps them from the government's brainwashing… but as a result, they are named Public Enemy #1. So they need to stay hidden, without getting caught.
Which is a lot harder than it sounds.
Rules:
- Cursing is allowed and welcomed, unless one of the other people joining feels uncomfortable about it.
- Don't be a dick. Seriously, it's annoying, and it doesn't earn you any friends. This is a roleplay, not a drama chat, and I don't want to have to delete this.
- Respect others' characters and views
- LGBTQ+ is welcomed with open arms

Sunlight. So heat and light, basically
Appearance:
- Hair: Solana's hair is brown, with lighter highlights. Usually straight and down to her waist, she doesn't do much with it. If she has to put it up, she'll just stick it in a ponytail. She's sworn off braids for reasons unknown.
- Skin: Her skin is the color of burnt caramel; a little gold, a little brown, a little pale. She has a few scars on her body, not from any trauma, just the regular scarring of growing up.
- Eyes: Pure gold. The pupils will turn white occasionally, triggered to her emotions, although, usually, people don't pay enough attention to notice this.
- Body: Fairly curvy. She's pretty fit, because usually, instead of hanging out with friends, she'll work out. She's about 5'4'', but doesn't let that stop her.
- Clothes/Accessories: Anything and everything. She will pick something out of her closet and make it look good on herself. She'll never wear the same clothes twice in a month, not if she can help it.
- Other: She has a tattoo of some sort of exotic black sun ray on the center of her back, stretching and reaching out to her shoulders and part of her neck and lower body.
Personality:
Solana is exactly what one would picture as the sun. At times, she can be pure, sweet, and lovely, kind to all around her, almost like spring rays. Other times, however, she can be the hot summer sun, scorching and angry and chaotic. She has a hot tempter, a wicked tongue, although she has learned from experience to think before she speaks. She will keep quiet oftentimes, and so when she does speak, it startles everyone around her. She can be fairly oblivious sometimes, rude other times, and incredibly kind in between. There is a certain pattern to her moods; one just has to know her well enough. She doesn't open up much to people, not because she doesn't like them or trust them, she just doesn't feel like there is anything to open up about. She can act pretty distant and aloof, making it hard to get along with her sometimes. She acts apathetic a lot, and sometimes it's true. She's incredibly arrogant, as well, lessening people's enjoyment towards her.
