The smirk fell. He didn’t ask about the hybrid’s mother. As he listened, his brow raised. “So he was exiled? Oh, but then you killed him. Okay.”
He honestly didn’t know how to feel about that. His uncle had never been close with him, and he’d disappeared when Kay was pretty young. But he had also been hoping he was alive, and his killer was right in front of him, desperate to kill him now.
“Damn, years? You care that much about me?” The smirk came back.

He slapped Kaylum hard across the face, open palm slap.
He glared down at him, his eyes almost glowing.
"Not even close, you've run out of questions."
The bones began to grow along his person outlining his figure as they shaped around his body, his face and his arms. He had bones extend from his wrists like claws.
"any last words Prince?'
He turned back towards him, moving closer to him to pin him to the the ground.

@Tired-but-passionate

Well, the slap was certainly unexpected. As the prince, Kay had never been struck before. He cried out, pressing a hand to his cheek. He watched the bones grow on top of Aragon’s skin like armor, the smirk effectively wiped from his expression.
"Not in particular," he said, and teleported to the other room where those electric twins were sitting. The action of teleporting worsened his aching body, and he had to lean against the wall before looking back into the room he just teleported out of.

Luca was currently stuffing a sandwich into her mouth when he teleported into the room and she let out a groan and was immediately up and ready for him, she had electricity jumping along her body.
"we always have to clean up his messes." She groaned as she moved to charge at kaylum and throw a fist at his face super charged with lightning.
Aragon let out a yell of frustration as he went to where the twins were not expecting to see kaylum in that very room.

@Tired-but-passionate

Lucian stayed sitting, assuming that his sister could handle it without him. He chewed on his mutton, enjoying the show.
“Nah, this one’s just a slippery fish,” he remarked.
Kaylum looked back to the sound of sparking electricity and panicked when he saw Luca charging toward him. Teleporting here was a bad idea. He dodged the girl’s attack and teleported onto the table that was in the room, where the twins had been sitting. Before Kay could react, Lucian poked his leg, sending an arc of electricity through him. He collapsed, falling painfully onto the floor, bumping into the table and chairs along the way.
“Slippery fish ain’t so slippery anymore,” Lucian smirked.

Aragon watched as the twins dealt with him, and then watched as he fell.
"we need get rid of that stupid teleportation." He growled slightly as he walked over to kaylum, moving to grab him by the throat.
"what? Why? Can't you just kill him now? Why go through all the issues?"
She put a hand on her hip, with a huff. She stared Aragon down, they had a bit of a stare down for a bit.
"I will." He continues to hold him by the throat making sure kaylum passed out from his tight grip. He then moved to leave into the next room.
Luca commented "Weak" as he left the room.

@Tired-but-passionate

Kaylum struggled when the hybrid grabbed him, but he was so weak that it didn’t last long. His senses started to fade. His vision blurred, and the sounds of the others’ voices became harder to distinguish from the ringing in his ears the longer Aragon held onto his throat. At last the world darkened, and Kay’s body went limp.

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

He kept moving away from the twins, to the other side of his den shitting the door behind him and dropping kaylum on the floor, he was searching for something to neutralize his teleportation.
He grabbed a small vial and moved to open kaylums mouth and pour it in, making sure he swallowed it before putting the vial away.
Why can't I just kill him and be done with it? He groaned, rubbing his face. Luca might be right about one thing, he was weak for a reason he didn't know. He had been training for so long to finally execute his plan but now when the time came, he couldn't bring himself to do it for whatever reason.
I just want to give him a fair fight, that's all
He rolled his eyes, that was hardly a reason at all, with the teleportation suppressant. He decided to hide in the shadows, see what Kay would do when he woke up.

@Tired-but-passionate

Kaylum stayed unconscious for quite a while, probably thirty minutes or so. He woke up with a pained gasp, his muscles throbbing and his chest aching. The pain kicked in immediately, a kind of pain a prince like him certainly wasn't used to.
He had been so stupid, hadn't he? His father and mother had warned him about situations like this, that at one point or another, someone would wish harm upon him. It is not that he had never listened, but he wanted freedom and adventure too. He had been shut away for so long, how could he properly prepare himself for situations like this? He was going to die now. He knew it in his mind, but he could not really understand that for what it was. He was so young…
He had not spotted Aragon hiding just out of the corner of his vision. It was too painful to move, but he thought that hybrid would show up to finish him off soon.

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

Aragon stood in the dark for about thirty minutes, and honestly had been laying down and staring at kaylum until he stirred and he moved back into the shadows watching him. He just stood there watching him, was he really just going to give up on life?
That was just pathetic and kinda sad.
He stood there and watched him waiting for something new to happen.

@Tired-but-passionate

Soon enough, Kaylum caught sight of the hybrid. “Oh, you’re here,” he rasped. “Are you going to kill me now? If you are, make it quick and painless. I’m already in enough pain.”
He coughed, his lungs burning with the effort. He wanted to teleport away, but that would weaken him even more. It would not be smart to use his powers now.
After some deliberation, he decided to shift to dragon form. If Aragon tried to stab him, his thick skin and scales would be difficult to penetrate. Plus, he had claws and teeth this way. Maybe there was some hope here. At least for a little while. Kay concentrated on taking deep, rhythmic breaths.

He sighed, just staring at him awkwardly, he put a hand on his neck as he watched Kay transform into a dragon.
Why do I all of a sudden feel bad for him..? No, no it's stupid. Just ignore it there's no way you should be feeling sympathy for him now
He shook his head and rubbed his face, he just seemed lost in thought as he stood there and thought to himself.

It appeared that the hybrid was not ready to kill him yet. Kaylum stared back wordlessly, which was not hard; Aragon was pretty to look at. Wait. Pretty? No. He’s not that good-looking. What am I thinking?
Eventually he looked away, moving to preen his feathers. Give the other boy some time to think about his choices, right?

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

He just ended up staring as kaylum preen his feathers. Though he wasnt really watching kaylum, he was just lost in thought. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a sigh.
stupid Luca…maybe she was right…I'm too weak to kill one person dang it..
He zoned back in and was still looking at kaylum, before looking away and leaning against the wall.

@Tired-but-passionate

Eventually Kay got tired. Being electrocuted twice was not fun, and difficult to just brush off. He noticed his muscles were twitching. Resting his head on the ground, kept his eyes on the hybrid.
Maybe it was a bad idea to provoke him, but the other boy didn’t seem ready to kill him yet. Why?
“Whatcha sitting over there for?” He asked. “Fallen for my charms, haven’t you? That’s why you haven’t killed me yet. I’m so irresistible, aren’t I?”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

Well, at least he could trust the boy to get him agitated and wanting to get back onto the topic of killing him.
He let out a loud scoff.
"your charms? What charms? You have none, your clumsy, your nosey, your hardly worth the effort I don't know your parents tolerated you."
He spoke, glaring at kaylum as he got closer to him.

@Tired-but-passionate

Kaylum laughed, but eventually stopped because it hurt too much. “Hybrid, learn to take a joke. I’m clearly being sarcastic.”
He sighed. “I just don’t get why you haven’t killed me yet, man. You should probably do it before I start thinking you’re a good person, deep down inside.”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

He just stared down kaylum with a grim look, he glared at him.
"stop calling me hybrid." He continues to glare down at him. He then was startled by the recent statement, seemingly caught off guard before his eyes shadowed over, he moved over to kaylum, tilting his chin up slightly and he leaned forward and whispered something into his ear.
"you would be so…so wrong."
He stabbed kaylum in the gut, with his bones that extend out of his wrists. He then pulled out the bones and dropped kaylum, getting up.
"I can and will kill you, don't forget that. It's a mercy I've let you live this long."

@Tired-but-passionate

Why did his blood grow warm when he touched him? Kaylum was taken aback, at first.
Unfortunately, his gut was not protected by tough skin or hard scales, and even then, they could hardly be safe from a bone dragon’s in-built weapons, even if he was only half. Kaylum was stunned. He had tried to teleport away in time, he had tried, but it didn’t work. He couldn’t teleport. What had he done to him?
Kaylum had payed the price for his words. He could not say anything more. Weakened and in pain, he curled up into a ball. His wings and scales may hopefully protect his more vulnerable areas from further damage, but he knew his days were numbered, now. Aragon had simply decided not to give him what he asked, a quick and painless death.
