Appearance: https://pin.it/5FKzGgZ
Personality: He is very angsty boy, he can be relaxed with some people in the town due to the fact that his parents were people people ya know like they people, so he somewhat does but mostly he's focused on his anger and his remorse and his grief.
Backstory: Uwaaaaaaaahhhh he was born from the king and a mistress, but they immediately discarded Fortunately the one who discarded him gave him to some nice folk in the village who wanted kids, well later on the mistress was murdered public execution style, and then later it was sad that the king died from a sickness brought in by grief and that the king's brother would take his place. Name: Kaylum Oré
Age: 17
Gender: male
Sexuality: gay
Dragon type: psychic
Powers: telekinesis, teleportation, astral projection, some healing and telepathy but it’s not as strong
Appearance: he stands at about 5’11 with a slender, bean pole-like frame. His skin is a soft, pinkish brown color, with paler splotches on his face and limbs. Full lips and large, flat nose, and prominent eyebrows. His eyes are narrow, making him seem to have a resting b-face. The left is golden, and the right is purple. He has long dreadlocks that reach to his ankles, the color of milk. He usually wears soft, sheer linens and baggy pants. In his dragon form, he’s about 20 feet in length and has a height of 7 feet when standing. The color of his skin and hair corresponds to his scales and feathers, same with his eyes, though with his scales it makes them glint like copper. He has two horns and large, feathery wings, as well as a feathery tail.
Personality: his outward disposition is very cold and indifferent, as well as quiet. He never speaks or does anything without thinking first, and he’s very reflective, even philosophical at times. Underneath that exterior is a lot of harbored sadness and emotion, though he keeps it down to protect himself. There’s also a very sarcastic, teasing side to him as well. This, combined with the coldness allows him to be very smooth and quick-witted. When needed he’s very calculating and intelligent.
Backstory: Kaylum was born to the current King Auren and Queen Lisette. He has always been told that he was the heir to the throne and that his uncle, Auren’s brother, merely passed away due to an illness. Kay has never suspected there was anything more to that until a few years ago, when he found a record in the palace’s archives about his uncle. Unfortunately, most of the record had been destroyed, so Kay couldn’t get the full picture.
Kaylum has had a very strict childhood, even to this day. He was always told what to do and how to act, and his relationship with his parents is a little strained. Though he would technically be considered an obedient child, it made breaking the rules much easier to get away with. He would always wander off and explore places he shouldn’t, or read/ look at things he shouldn’t, etc. When he became a teenager, this got increasingly difficult as his responsibilities piled up, and thus he became more reserved and a bit of a bookworm.
Other: loves flying and exploring places in his dragon form, reading and hoarding books, and smoked meat. Has a few friends, but they reside outside the palace walls

The kingdom of the psychic dragons was more vast than others, mainly because they weren’t often restricted by physical distance like other dragon clans were. It spanned the entirety of a mountain cliff face, which overlooked a valley that was the source of most of the kingdom’s food supply. There was no need for bridges or roads, and there were only small pathways carved into the mountain that covered short distances. Flying was everyone’s main form of transportation, if you didn’t count the various psychic abilities. Dens could simply be carved into the mountain, with only the sheer drop into the abyss outside, and no one would bat an eye. Usually homes were more complicated that that, however. Usually where large cargo or children were concerned, hot air balloons would be used and guided along with harnessed dragons. So hot air balloons and dragons littered the airspace outside the mountain cliff, with the extensions of homes and dens jutting out from the stone and rock.
Kaylum wished he could explore it all.
The palace the largest of the dens, half of it carved into the rock and half built from it. The half carved into the mountain was compose of large and small pockets of space, nary a straight line in sight and most rooms nearly circular. It was where most slept and storage was kept. The half that was built from the mountain stood on a massive platform, the rest extending from it upward and outward. Some rooms didn’t even have walls or ceilings, with only the open air meeting them. This half was used for everything else, and where the throne room was located.
Kaylum was starting to get sick of it.
He stood there, in the throne room, with the afternoon light streaming in from the open ceiling. Only his body guard, Xiomara, kept him company. She stood beside him in dragon form, her dark, feathery wings folded and her posture composed. Xiomara was the closest thing Prince Kaylum had to a friend inside the palace, but her duty as a body guard made her… a little annoying.
“Can you please leave?” He asked, playing with his dreads.
The dragon tilted her head him exasperatedly. “You know I can’t, prince. I know you’ll try to leave if I do.”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

There was a knock at the door, and then the door opened and a guard seemingly a young and nervous one walks in. He bows at Kaylum and Xiomara, opening his mouth to speak.
"S-sorry for the interruption, y-your highness… Xiomaras presence I-is requested elsewhere. T-theres an emergency that she's needed for.."
He kept his head down and his gaze at the floor, he seemed to be rather new and that's why he was so nervous.

@Tired-but-passionate

Kaylum had been about to throw Xiomara a retort when the guard walked in.
“An emergency?” He said instead, twisting a dreadlock around his finger.
Xiomara raised her head to the guard. “What? Who are you? What emergency? I haven’t heard of an emergency on the communal telepathy link.”
Kay shrugged, seeing an opportunity. “Hey, maybe it’s one of those private emergencies, that’s why they wanted your presence specifically. It’s fine Xiomara, you can go.”
She gave him a look that told him she was trying to glare at him but also not trying to be disrespectful. Then she turned back to the new guard, ruffling her feathers. “Who sent you, exactly?”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

"The Head of the Royal Guard M-Ma'am." He looked up slightly at her, before looking back down and standing up from bowing, "I w-was sent to e-escort…" He moves to open the door for her.

@Tired-but-passionate

She studied the guard, probably for a bit too long if Kaylum hadn’t nudged her foreleg. “Fine,” Xiomara said with a snort, and shifted to human form. She was short and stocky, her evenly shaved head showing off her long, pointed ears. Her turquoise eyes glinted suspiciously in the guard’s direction. She clearly didn’t like being separated from the prince, but said, “Take me there.”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

He nodded and held the door opened for her, and then closed it once they were both out he lead her into a library, pointing into it, "j-j-just i-in t-the deeper parts.." he cleared his throat acting like he was trying to stop stuttering, when she went inside he would move immediately shut the door, rush over to her and put a cloth over her mouth and nose, even in the world of dragons there was a mix of plants and such that would knock even a dragon out cold for a little bit, and a little bit was all he needed. After he had done that he gagged her and tied up to a chair, making sure she couldn't get a word out, he's was gone by the time she woke up. He discarded the armor in a storage closest in the library.

@Tired-but-passionate

Xiomara’s brow raised. The library? What could possibly be going on in the library?
She stepped inside, turning back to the guard to say, “I don’t sense anything going on. Are you sure-“
Xiomara felt a cloth close over her mouth and nose, the heavy smell of herbs and flowers flooding her senses. There was just enough time to send a cry for help through the communal telepathy link before she lost consciousness.

Meanwhile, the moment the two of them left, the prince, still in the throne room, smiled to himself. He brought down his fist and whispered, “Yes!” in triumph, then immediately shifted to dragon form and flew straight for the open ceiling. Kay rose high above the palace, spreading out his feathery wings, and immediately dive bombed into empty space, the caves and dens of the common folk soon coming into view.

He moved back through the hallway, very cautiously. He had managed to get his hands on some noble Robes, just in case. He couldn't walk around in his Dragon form because of the fact that he would be internally questioned about his type of dragon and he would be executed if they found that out.
He let out a sigh, moving to pull on the neck piece of the clothes he stole, it was a bit tight. Especially with the clothing and weaponry he had hidden underneath and along his body.
He took a deep breath in and then out as he moved to open the doors to the throne room and-
No.
Your kidding.
Your joking.
why wasn't he there??! He was just there a minute ago! He ran a hand through his hair before calming down. He probably just got tired of the chamber and went to explore.
He looked around before transforming into his dragon form and taking off after he caught kaylums scent.

@Tired-but-passionate

Kaylum eventually evened out his dive and started gliding along. He could just teleport, but that was boring and flying was much more fun.
There it was, the den he was looking for. It was much smaller than the palace, but still quite nice looking. Kay’s wings shivered with excitement when he caught movement in one of the windows. It had been so long since he’d hung out with one of his friends, and he needed a break.
Another wave of excitement crashed over him when he saw someone fly out of said window. “Azure!” He called out, and he met the other dragon in midair. They tumbled, flapping their wings and rolling around in the air, their limbs tangled together. Panicked, Kay managed to untangle himself and spread out his wings like a parachute, but ended up pushing the other dragon in the process. Luckily, they managed to catch themself about a dozen feet below him. They both hovered for a moment, the other dragon looking up at him with a bright smile.
“Hey Your Highness,” they said teasingly. They were albino, so their scales glittered like ivory and their feathers were like snow. The only thing that justified their name was their eyes, which were a pale blue color.
Kay rolled his own. “Don’t call me that. I’ve already been called that a million times today.”
Azure laughed. “Just teasing, Kay. C’mon, let’s go- wait, who’s that?”
Kay turned to where Azure was looking at, and saw another dragon flying towards them, seeming to come from the palace as he had. Even from here, Kay could see how strange the dragon looked; it seemed he wasn’t even a psychic dragon.
“That’s a good question,” Kay said.

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

oh this is just perfect, he's with someone
He groaned internally, moving to make it look like he was injured and struggling to fly at this point, he made it all the down until he crash landed a few feet from the pair letting out a pained growl for them to hear, hoping they would come to his aid. He was technically bleeding, and he was sure the prince was "good of heart" or maybe his friend was.
Either way if he got them to come to him he could easily grab one of them around the throat when he transformed back and threatened the other with the safety of the one he grabbed.
He hoped his plan would work, he needed all his time training to pay off.

@Tired-but-passionate

After a few moments of watching the strange dragon, Azure murmured urgently, “They’re hurt, they can’t fly.”
It would’ve been dangerous to meet the dragon in midair, but they couldn’t just let them tumble down the mountain. Fortunately, or unfortunately, they turned to watch the dragon crash onto a ledge jutting out from the mountain face a few feet away. It was a blur of white and black, strange colors for a psychic dragon to possess, Kaylum thought, it was too striking.
At this point, Kaylum was just confused. He didn’t really think about helping the injured dragon. Why should they? It was all so strange and suspicious, this strikingly colored dragon coming from the direction of the palace.
But Azure had other ideas. They flew over to the injured dragon, calling out, “Hey! What happened? Are you alright?”
“Azure…” Kay murmured, staring at the two of them.

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

He let out a groan as the prince's friend flew on over, they seemed nice and honestly he kinda felt bad using them to get to the prince, but he wouldn't let his hard work for two years of training and gathering information go to waste just like that.
"y-yeah im fine!" He let out a grunt of pain waiting for Asure to get close, once she did he would sling his arm over her neck and keep his talons pressed to her throat.

@Tired-but-passionate

“Are you sure?” Azure asked. They carefully landed on the ledge next to the strange dragon. “You don’t look so good. How can I help?”
Kaylum looked on, hovering in the air a few feet away. A mounting sense of dread crept up on him. Something about this was off.

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

He stumbled on his way to stand up, moving to stretch out his wing before wincing and retracting it back in, he seemed to be struggling to open it, well he wasn't really acting, he had to cut himself to make the act presentable.
"i just cut my wing on some jagged rocks i accidentally veered too close too. Do you happen to have anything to treat cuts or scratches with? I'm afriad i don't have much of anything on me at the moment."
