She breathed a sigh of relief. She had half been expecting the ER doctor to snap at her for being so unprofessional as to compliment her, but she realized now that that had been kind of a ridiculous thought. She remembered, painfully, how her mother was always telling her not to surmise things about other people's personalities and experiences. She said it would create problems that had never even existed before. "Why am I mad? She's right…" She muttered to herself without realizing it, which made O'Hara look at her sideways momentarily. "It's nothing. I just talk to myself sometimes." She admitted, embarrassed she had been caught doing it aloud. "I'd love to join you, thanks for the offer." She said smiling.
