@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

Name: Connor
Age: 566 (posing as a 23 year old human)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: he has curly brown hair that’s just long enough to put up in a ponytail (which he does almost constantly). his eyes are murky green and almond shaped. his skin is naturally pale but it’s relatively tan from having spent a while on earth. he stands around six feet tall with a slim build, he has a bit of arm muscles but not an obvious or showy amount. he also has a goatee because artsy boi.
Personality: he’s not necessarily introverted, he just prefers not talking to strangers, it mostly comes from growing up around assholes that aren’t worth talking to. he doesn’t cause trouble much for a demon except when he feels like people really deserve it (unfortunately his perspective of people ‘deserving it’ varies greatly from day to day). he’s also secretly a really good flirt.
Likes: quiet, art, nature
Dislikes: entitled assholes, people messing with his art
Fears: claustrophobic
Backstory: being one of the smaller demons, he was always targeted by other bigger demons. this is why he stuck by himself and always preferred staying on earth. he’s become much happier in his time on earth, and gained a lot more confidence.
Other: art is his main hobby

((sorry it’s kinda trash because my brain is dying rn lol))

@Calanthe

(I thought that he was a great character, you did great!)

Name: Bennet

Age: "Well, I'm 714 years, old. . .I think, I sort of lost count when I turned 371." (Posing as a 22 year old)

Gender: Male

Sexuality: He thinks he's straight, well, moreso forced into believing it, but that will change.

Appearance: Bennet's overall appearance is what you would think an angel would look like. His eyes are a light greyish-blue, but depending on the lighting they look a bit more of a darker grey. His hair, which keeps in a bit of a shorter style is a light blonde, border lining white. Having lived his whole life in Heaven, and never visiting Earth, his skin is a bit pale, almost ghastly pale. He is slightly shorter than most of the other average height angels standing at 5'8. He normally wears lighter pastel colors, and such, and a ton of hoodies/cardigans.

Personality: Bennet is a definite sweetheart, and a lot different than the other angels that he works with. Somehow, instead of being one of the guardians or one of the ones that sit around playing music all day, but he got stuck in the group of warriors. And he has no clue what he is doing. He'd rather curl up in bed with a good book than spend time with the other angels, and although he is on a mission on earth, he really will just be chill with it. He's sort of excited to have a roommate though, he likes humans a lot more than the other angels, he doesn't think of them as pests as the other angels, so he's excited to meet the human he is staying with.

Likes: He loves blasting music extremely loud to drown out his feelings, his hurt at times, and whatever else he is feeling. He also loves to just sit around and do nothing, or just read, so he fluctuates from being really loud and hyper to being calm and just adorable at times.

Dislikes: He hates it when people are rude to one another, he honestly doesn't understand why people can be so cruel and hurtful to each other, other than that he basically likes nearly everything.

Fears: He has a major fear of being killed by another angel or demon or something along those lines. It's not exactly a rational fear, it's just something that terrifies him.

Backstory:(Since currently, I got nothing, I guess I'll flesh it out in the rp)

Other: He is a complete and total book worm.

Connor had had to move out of yet another apartment, 15 years really go by in the blink of an eye, and he couldn’t just claim he looked ‘good for his age’ anymore. So the only option was to move, which was always a pain. Fortunately, he’d managed to find an apartment. Unfortunately, he had a roommate. Which meant he had to go through the whole day, riddled with anxiety at the prospect. The hour had finally arrived, and he was grateful for the time it was taking him to lug his boxes up to the apartment.

@Calanthe

Bennet was a bit ahppy about having to share an apartment with this human. Although he had requested a bit of information about them, just so he could get to know them a bit before actually coming down to Earth and living with them, none was given to him. But, maybe it would be better for it to be a surprise, maybe his roommate would be pretty cool, and finding that out before might not be any fun. He had gotten to the apartment a bit earlier than his roommate had, and just trying to be polite he had taken the smaller of the two bedrooms in the apartment. He didn't need that much space, and he figured it would just be polite for him to do that. He flopped down on his bed about to take a quick nap when he heard the door to the apartment open. Figuring that it was his roommate he got up so that he could help with the boxes.

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

He was able to spot the boxes he assumed belonged to his roommate over his own stack of boxes. “Hello??” He called out into the apartment, balancing his boxes on one knee, frantically looking for a place to put them, probably cursing a bit under his breath as he did so.

@Calanthe

Bennet finallt made his way in between the boxes to finally reach the guy who would be his roommate. He stumbled over the empty boxes he had left strewn around and offered to take the boxes from the guy, "I am so sorry, could I help you with anything?" He kicked some of his boxes away to make room for some of the new ones, "By the way, my names Bennet."

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

“No, no it’s okay. Just need room to set these down.” He grunted out, managing to gently place them on the ground. He straightened back up, stretching his back out before offering a hand for Bennet to shake. “I’m Connor. Pleasure to meet you.”

@Calanthe

Bennet smiled shaking his hand, not exactly sure what to say, "Uhm. . .okay?" He immediately wanted to facepalm for making the situation so awkward, or at least a little more awkward than it should have been. "Well, I. . .uhm, could go and put these boxes away. I'll go do that now." He quickly grabbed all the boxes or at least tried to and headed back to his room, "Oh dear lord. . ." he muttered under his breath, "Why do I have to be so weird?"

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

“Okay then….” he kinda didn’t know what to say until after Bennet disappeared into the other room. “Umm..I’m gonna go get the rest of my stuff okay?” He called out, already having one hand on the doorknob. ‘Why am I so awkward’ he cursed himself internally.

@Calanthe

After shoving all of the boxes in the few empty spaces Bennet had in his room, he came back out. He looked around for the other guy, but he didn't see him. Shrugging he flopped down on the couch and popped his earbuds in. He was a bit tired from taking bus after bus to get to this place, even though Heaven was on a bit a budget for a him, Uber wasn't even a possibility? He sighed and closed his eyes getting a bit comfy, then realized that perhaps it would be rude to already be taking over the couch. Now just feeling really weird, he went back to his room, but left the door open.

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

It ended up being particularly hard to lug his stuff upstairs, a majority of it being his art supplies. Which is how he ended up going four flights of stairs with a corner of his easel jabbing him in the ribs. “Ow, ow, ow, ow!” He grumbled, finally making it back to the apartment. He managed to open the door with his elbow and sighed in relief. He clumsily set the stuff down on the floor, cursing quietly.

@Calanthe

Bennet poked his head out of his room, "Are you sure you're alright? If you want some help I can definitely help you. It was hard to bring my stuff up to my room, and you look like you have more stuff, so I can. . ." he trailed off realizing that he was talking too much, "I mean, I'm willing to help you out, I guess." He moved so that he was out of his room and actually facing the Connor, "It's up to you though. If you rather I leave you alone, that's fine too."

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

“Oh…you probably have things to do so I don’t want to bother you.” He remarked softly, feeling a bit awkward. But it was true, he did have a lot of things to carry. He suddenly got very self-conscious about the amount of things he’d brought. Hopefully he wouldn’t take up too much space with all his random stuff.

@Calanthe

"I mean not really, my job doesn't start for another week or so, so I'm not really busy at all, in fact I have nothing to do right now at all, except maybe watch re-runs of Golden Girls." Back in Heaven that was one of his favourite human shows to watch, and he never got tired of it. That was actually the only show he ever watched, although the other angels thought that he was weird for it. "But I mean, I can let you be for a bit, that's fine with me."

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

“Okay then…if you want, you can help with those boxes.” He pointed at a few of the boxes that he’d brought up the first time, still cradling the boxes of art supplies in his arms. Connor shot him a quick smile. “Thanks for the help by the way, not a lot of people do that.”

@Calanthe

Bennet smiled happily, "Yep, I mean, I just like helping people, I guess it would be nice if more people did that, I don't know, I mean." He began to ramble as picked up the boxes, "But, uhm yeah, do you like art or do art? I guess I could have just asked if you were an artist, but I'm weird like that." He said nodding the art supplies as he put the boxes down in Connor's room, "Because if you don't, why do you have all that stuff?"

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

He listened to Bennet ramble on with an amused smile. “Oh yeah I am an artist I guess.” He replied, gently setting the stuff down on his bed, deciding to sort through it later. “I’m not like famous or anything though.” That one was most definitely a lie. Some of his pieces were now historically famous. But it did have its cons, whenever he ‘died’ he’d have to completely start from scratch with a new style.

@Calanthe

"Well, it would certainly be interesting if you were, imagine me telling all of my friends that my roommate was a famous artist. Tehy'd be so jealous, well I mean, if they actually listened to me when I talked they would be, but that's no big deal." Benner said still beaming happily, "Uhm, so once you'r done should we maybe discuss things that we can and can't do, like absolutely no parties and stuff like that?"

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

He chuckled softly. He was surprised that Bennet could just be so happy all the time regardless of what he was discussing. “Yeah I shouldn’t take too long to unpack. I’m pretty much okay with any rules you want to have.” He shrugged, sitting down on the edge of his bed.

@Calanthe

"I'm not that much of a stickler for rules, I just like quiet, I guess." Bennet shrugged as he stepped out of Connor's room, "I'll let you be now, okay? If my music get's too loud don't be afraid to ask me to turn it down, I'm fine with that, okay?" And with that, he left his room and went into his own. After closing the door he searched for one of his new books then began to play some instrumental music quietly.

@Max_Miracle_DroppedMostOfTheirRPs

He nodded and watched as Bennet left the room. He got up and closed the door, deciding to start unpacking. He plugged his headphones in, putting on some music and opening up the first box full of stuff he had in his old room. He started setting it up around his room. A few pictures on the wall, a potted plant on the windowsill, and his bisexual pride flag above his bed.

@Calanthe

After about an hour or so, Bennet walked over to the kitchen to grab a snack or something. He was getting a bit hungry, and was hoping that he might have saved something from his food from earlier. He had a terrible memory at times, especially when he tried to remember where he left things. He opened up the fridge and sighed, "Darn it, I guess I must have thrown it out." Sighing he trudged back to his room, when an idea struck. He pulled out his phone and started to order a pizza.
