Nick smiled. "I love you so much, Cas." He continued to the hold the other boy, silently willing him to feel better.
"I love you too…" Cas buried his face in Nick's chest and hugged him tightly. "I wish our plan would've gone better…"
"Me too," Nick sighed. "But we'll make it out. I'll do everything I can to help you."
Cas nodded, hesitating before his next question. "…When do you think they'll notice I'm gone?"
"I don't know," Nick admitted. "The sooner they notice, the sooner they're going to show up here possibly trying to kill me though." He sighed.
Cas sighed as well and held tighter to Nick. "How are we going to stop them from hurting you?"
"We'll have to cross that bridge when we get to it, because I have no clue," he sighed. "I can defend myself. I have my powers."
"Mm… I'll try to protect you too, but I can't make any promises in this condition." He nestled his head into the crook of Nick's neck.
"Thanks, love," Nick sighed, trying not to think about it. He was just glad to have Cas back, even if he was worried about him.
"Mhmm…" Cas yawned a bit. "I don't think I'm gonna throw up anymore, so we can go back to the bed if you want."
"Sounds good to me," Nick agreed. "Are you up for a sip of water?"
He nodded. "I think so. Again, worth a try either way. My throat hurts like hell."
Nick carefully moved a bit, standing up. He offered Cas his hand.
Cas took it and allowed Nick to help him up. He swayed on his feet, and he still wasn't sure he could walk.
Nick kept holding Cas's hand to steady him. "You can lean on me if you need to," he added.
Cas nodded, readily accepting the offer. He stumbled over to the bed, always staying very, very close to Nick.
Nick put one of his arms around Cas, trying to help him. Once they got to the bed, he flopped onto it, glad to be done.
Cas flopped beside Nick and cuddled close to him, breathing a sigh of relief. "I'm so tired…"
Nick reached over and got a glass of water, handing it to Cas. "Can you try taking a sip of water first?"
"Mmm…" Cas whined softly, but accepted the glass anyways and took a sip. After a few seconds of waiting to see whether it would stay down, he took another sip.
Nick smiled when he took the second sip. “Do you feel alright?” he asked.
"I think so, yeah… doesn't feel like it's coming back up." Cas took another few sips of the water.
“That’s good news!” Nick cheered, blushing as he shut up. “I mean, good.”
"What're you blushing for?" Cas asked once he'd swallowed his next mouthful of water.
“Oh, I thought I got too excited about you drinking some water,” he admitted, feeling dumb. “But it is good.”
Cas rolled his eyes and kissed Nick's cheek softly. "Eh… at least I feel a little better having something in my stomach."
“I’m glad,” Nick replied with a small smile. “You look a little better too.”
"Thanks." Cas grinned weakly. "But I always look flawless, even when I throw all my food out the window and don't sleep."
Nick chuckled. “Yes, you do.” He curled up against Cas.
