My story takes place on a fictional planet in an alternate dimension from Earth, and I have no clue how to name it. What are the best ways to come up with a name for that? (The story is fantasy, not sci-fi, so I don't want a science fiction style name if that makes sense -)
Take the 1st letter of your first name, then the 2nd letter of your favourite colour, then them to the last remaining letters of the name for any plant?
E.G: Eurysanthemum (Emily, purple, chrysanthemum)
what i did was think of a name that could literally define what the planet is then put it into google translate and went through multiple languages until I found something that I liked. hope this helps.
