“Heightened senses? What do you mean? Can you hear better than the average human?” He was growing ever more curious about what she could do.
“Heightened senses? What do you mean? Can you hear better than the average human?” He was growing ever more curious about what she could do.
"Yea, and I can see, feel, smell, better than the average human too." Yesim answered, turning towards Victor.
“Even feel?” He looked to her with curious eyes. “Tell me more. I’ve never met an elf like you, Yesim. You’re so interesting and beautiful.”
(Gahhh, sorry about that, my parents didn't let me go on my laptop at all these past few days)
Yesim couldn't help but be flustered, nodding ever so slightly. "I–ummm—thank you…wait, have you never met any elf like me? I don't have any special powers."
(You’re ok!)
He shrugged, sitting down in a comfy chair by the window. “I have not worked with many elves. They are a solitary species, I must admit.”
"It's because most of us don't want anyone finding out we're elves, considering we usually overthink everything," Yesim explained, not sitting down since it would have been rude for her to sit down without asking Victor.
He hummed softly and laughed. “Have you been overthinking?” He asked her, patting the seat next to him. “Come, sit. You work here now, you may do what you want within reason.”
Yesim shrugged lightly, making her way over to the seat next to him. "Kind of…? I mean, I've been a bit more cautious these few months since I needed to get a job and I didn't want anyone saying no just because I was an elf, I was okay if they said no for some other reason though."
He shook his head, sighing sadly. “I’m afraid to say that would have been something I wouldn’t hire you for. I feel awful about it now.” He murmured, looking away in shame.
"It's fine, you don't need to feel bad about it," Yesim mumbled, sitting down next to him and trying to make eye-contact with him.
He lifted his gaze to her face, a light pink to his cheeks. “It’s hard learning you’ve been hating an innocent people… I apologize for anyway I’ve acted rudely to you.” He told her softly.
"You haven't been rude to me at all," Yesim replied softly, a small smile appearing on her face in Hope's of cheering up Victor. "And not all of us are innocent, you know."
He chuckled lightly at her and smiled weakly. “I know. There are many who want for human and Majicl blood alike.” He tugged down the shirt he was wearing to show her the large scar that spanned across his chest and neck. “I can personally testify of that.”
Yesim nodded in understanding, glancing at the scar. "I know, and not all species are evil either."
(Sorry it's short)
(Youre Good)
He chuckled again, nervously shifting. She was so close he could smell the shampoo in her hair. “Mhmm… I’m glad you taught me that…”
Yesim couldn't help but chuckle softly, a small twinkle in her eyes. "I'm glad I did too." Her hair smelled like vanilla with just a hint of lavender.
Victor cleared his throat and looked down awkwardly at his knees, biting his lip. He grew nervous, shifting lightly. “Yesim…? Can I ask you something?”
"Sure," Yesim replied, wondering why he looked so nervous. Am I really that intimidating? But he wasn't nervous at the cafe, though….
She was far too close to him for him to think straight. But he still managed to get out his words. “Do you really want to work here? With me?”
"Of course," Yesim replied softly, looking a bit worried. "What made you think I didn't want to?" She asked, trying her best to keep her beating heart still.
Victor laughed. “I have been told I am unpleasant, arrogant, and childish…” the words stung him. His mother had said those words.
"They were talking to the wrong person then," Yesim said, trying her best to comfort Victor. She was bad at comforting people in general, but she would try her best for Victor.
He shrugged. “It was my mother talking to me. My mother is a strict women that I hardly ever see.”
Yesim stayed quiet, not knowing what to do or say. "Oh…I'm sorry you had to hear that. That must have been horrible."
He shrugged again. “I don’t know her too well. She isn’t really my mother to me.” He laughed. “She’s a strict nanny who is ever here.”
Yesim couldn't help but chuckle softly. "At least you don't let it get to you, that's good."
(JUST CONFESS AND KISS ALREADY!)
He smiled at her, leaning a little closer without realizing it. “You're easy to talk to.” He said softly, smiling. “You’re very gentle and you actually listen.”
(CMON VICTOR JUST DO IIITTTTTT)
Yesim's face flushed a bit, not minding how close they were. "Oh–thank you…" She mumbled. "Well, you're also nice…."
(I KNOW RIGHT, THEY'VE BEEN FLIRTING AND SO CLOSE TO KISSING ND AGANDGLNAFLKNSAF)
He laughed lightheartedly. “Your compliments flatter me.” He teased. “I happen to really enjoy your company here with me.”
(I’m half tempted to have him kiss her now. Just one of those little shy office kisses)
"I'm glad I'm flattering you." Yesim replied with a slight laugh. "And I'm glad you enjoy my company, it would have been weird and awkward if you didn't."
(Oooh, we can do that)
