"I'd rather speak over coffee, if that's okay," Yesim answered, also flashing a small- yet cute -smile. "Also, my address is {some random address since I'm too lazy to make one up}."

@Toxic_Persephone group

(Ahaha I feel that. Sorry for the wait I had dinner.)

Victor leaned back in his chair, scowling as it creaked. He should get that fixed. “Your address is not needed if you are wanting to visit over coffee.” He replied casually. He tilted his head nevertheless over her smile, studying her features. He once again considered how pretty she was, mentally chastising himself. There were certain features he just found attractive throughout all species, even the ones he hated with a fiery passion. Eyes in particular were easy for him to admire.

(Its fine)

"Right, sorry about that, I just wanted you to know in case you needed it." Yesim said, looking around awkwardly. She knew he was staring at her, making her a bit uncomfortable as she tried not to move around too much.

He bit back the questions rising in his throat, taking a sip of his coffee to remove the bitter taste in his mouth. “Yesim, our first meeting will be later today. Are you in need of anything else until then?”

Yesim shook her head. "Nope, I'm good." She answered, moving around just a bit so she was in a more comfortable position.

He looked over her one last time before standing. “Well then, we are done here. I shall send you a message later to confirm our meeting place. Tonight I treat you for dinner.” He replied simply, opening the door to his office with yet another forced smile. The hate was still apparent in his eyes, but an admiration was layered over it. She was able to deflect most of his unfriendliness.

"No, it's fine, I don't want to bother you or anything," Yesim quickly said before exiting the office. Why does he look like he was forced to do this job? Wait, is he Lynch's son?

@Toxic_Persephone group

"I am obligated to." He said as she exited, a low grumble leaving his throat. His father was really pushing his luck on this one. Still, two months with an elf was much better than sitting through meetings. He sighed loudly and ran a hand through his slick hair.

Shit, shit, shit, he is Lynch's son, isn't he? Yesim thought when she thought the man looked annoyed. Aaand he probably hates me, great. She sighed as she headed out the door, making sure her hair was covering her ears.

Charles Lynch wasn’t one to be unkind towards anyone. But his son was not that way. It would make sense for one to easily mix Victor up for some small corporate head and not the heir to the company.

But Victor did have a soft spot for photography, and he loved living models. Whether they were human or not, he found their beauty quite entrancing sometimes. So he’d ask for a photo.

Victor wanted Yesim as such a model.

Yesim quickly walked to her house, wondering if she had messed up in any way or not. I probably messed up, didn't I? She thought, putting the key into the keyhole and opening the door before closing it and flopping down on her couch.

Victor was unable to return home until late in the night. His neighborhood was quiet, sleepy, and overall deserted.

The condo-style apartment he resided in felt the same way. Cold and empty. The only thing warm about it was the toy Pomeranian his mother had given him. The small brown dog wagged it’s tail happily upon Victor’s arrival, waiting patiently by the door for the human to hang up his coat.

“Hello Quinn.” He cooed to the small ball of fluff, smiling. She was the only true joy in his life. Other than coffee that was.

Yesim rested her head in her left hand as she sketched out a rose, trying her best not to fall asleep. Last one, come on, you've done several all-nighters in college and high-school. She glanced at the clock which read 11:30 PM. "How is it so late already…?"

@Toxic_Persephone group

He frowned at the modern clock on the wall, it’s face showing a rather late time. Quinn bounced around his feet as he made his way to the kitchen area, clearly jointed with the living room. “Mm, I know I dislike Majik’s of all sorts but she was rather stunning for such a creature. Do you think she’d model for me once or twice?” He asked the ball of fluff once he had fed her.

“After all, a beauty is a beauty no matter what species.” He replied. “Even if they are savage or wild or absolutely horrid, you find beauty in a few.” A grin lit up his features. “Aren’t they all savage, Quinn? All of them would jump for your throat the second you let your guard down.” Victor let his hand jump to his collarbone, where his childhood scars remained unfading.

Yesim quickly sketched out the rose petals falling down, letting her future self do the line art and coloring. She got out of her chair to flop down on her bed and almost instantly falling asleep.

The human sighed. He himself ate only a light meal, the stress from work overwhelming him. He had no desire to eat.

So instead he took a shower and dried his hair, biting his lip as he stared at the little dog on his bed. “Quinn, you’re not allowed on the bed. You know this.” The dog gave a happy little wag of its tail. Victor sighed in defeat and flopped into bed. He fell asleep after a long mental conversation with himself.

The next morning his alarm woke him. The cool air of the room hit his bare chest as he slid from his covers and into the bathroom. His hair was a wreck. It’s previous state of slick back neatly was ruined by his natural curls and bedhead.

With a low growl he readied himself for the day, choosing a more casual dress for he had the day off. He took the time to send a text to his new client:

‘Shall we meet for lunch?’

Yesim was startled awake when she heard her phone go off, wondering what time it was. She was still in her clothes from yesterday as she got out from under the covers and went into the bathroom. Her hair was like it was the day before, one of the perks of having short hair. She quickly got ready for the day and glanced at her phone when it beeped, it was a message from Lynch's son.

'Sure, where should we meet?'

@Toxic_Persephone group

Victor groaned, running his fingers through his hair as he thought over places.

‘The cafe on the corner of Ernest Street? Small and run by Majiks.’

Came the almost instant reply. Years of having to make many speedy texts between corporations and CEOs made his fingers quick.

Quinn came barreling into his legs, looking stunned when she hit the obstacle. “You weird little dog.” He replied simply, smiling.

'Sure!'

Yesim quickly replied before heading into the kitchen to make breakfast, quietly humming a song she knew. She had been living on her own for a good year or two so she was still trying to get the hang of living by herself. Will I have time to finish the rose?

@Toxic_Persephone group

Of course Victor himself was rather awful at cooking anything that wasn’t a soup. But hell was he good at making soups. So, this morning he munched on a bowl of cereal, looking through his schedule that day. He was open. No meetings, no nothing other than the short lunch with his client.

Maybe he’d go out and take a few photos. That sounded nice. And maybe Yesim would be alright with a few.

Yesim quickly finished making breakfast, turning around to check the time. She didn't have anything else to do or go to except for meeting up with Lynch's son during lunch. She sat down on her couch, eating her breakfast while she was on her phone.

@Toxic_Persephone group

A small smile painted his lips as he washed his bowl, waiting for Quinn to hurry over before making his way to the couch. It was a good day. The sun shone through the window, warming his skin as he sat. Quinn joined him.

For the rest of the day, he worked. He wanted to get ahead Incase something came up. All too soon the clock was nearing twelve, and he was pulling on his coat. The simple t-shirt he wore showed off his scars a little too well. He didn’t mind them as much anymore.

It took only minutes in his car to reach the cafe, his tall figure easy to distinguish among the other heads upon the street. His gray eyes were turned to watch the cars pass by.

Yesim finished eating her breakfast and retreated to her room, staying there for most of the day and only coming out to get water. Soon enough, the clock was nearing twelve as Yesim sighed and held up the rose, ignoring the paint all across her arms and on her face. She glanced at the girl and quickly went into the bathroom to wash her face, wondering how it was twelve already. She put on a simple shirt and pants before heading outside.

She quickly made her way to the cafe, hoping she wasn't late or anything. Even though she didn't care that much, she still needed to make a good impression.

@Toxic_Persephone group

Victor noticed the familiar face and let his eyes linger. The human lifted his hand to wave to her, flashing a charming smile.

“Ah, Yesim. Right on time I see.” He called, attracting the attention of a few annoyed walkers. Upon seeing who he was, however, they hushed up.

Victor was well known. He was the son of a big businessman which led to many false accusations against him and his father. People on the streets knew better than to talk about him, however, knowing they were only safe when on the Internet. As all people in this world thought.

(Sorry about that!)

Yesim glanced at Victor when she heard his voice and smiled at him, almost sighing out loud in relief. "Oh, hey," She replied, wondering why everyone had looked at him annoyed but didn't say anything. Normally they would have said something, the only times they usually wouldn't say something is when the person was very famous, just how famous was this guy? She really needed to get a phone.
