“ open up vampire!” a man yelled, one from the academy

Kiibo sighed softly as he ignored the request. He wasn't going to let someone from the academy in. As long as they didn't get in, it would all be okay.

The man busted against the door again “come out you leach!”

Kiibo continued to ignore it. If it continued for much longer, he would wake Kokichi up, but until then, he'd let the other sleep.

“ and it's kiibo baby in there with you?”

Kiibo continued to remain completely silent. He thought that the student would go away if they were ignored for long enough. As long as he didn't interact, then they'd leave him alone after a while. He decided that it was best to think that would happen. He didn't want to think about the other possibilities.

“ kiibo.. Don't make a sound, “ kokichi warned

Kiibo nodded in response to Kokichi's warning. He hadn't intended on making any sort of noise, but he had to let his lover know that he was listening to him.

Kokchi kissed kiibos forehead and got up, grabbing a knife from the counter and slowly but quietly walking to the front door

Kiibo quickly noticed that his lover had the intention of fighting whoever was at the door, and that worried him. He was concerned that his lover would get himself into a dangerous situation. At the time, he was sure that Kokichi would be just fine, but he knew a lot of the students from the academy. A lot of them had the skills to take his boyfriend away in one way or another. He didn't want to see that happen, so he decided that if Kokichi wasn't back in a few minutes, he'd join the fight, even if he wasn't supposed to.

Kokichi had been fighting for a few minutes now. His opponent was more bloody than a dean fish

Kiibo figured that Kokichi was okay at first. He knew that the other was strong, so he could fight for a while. He remained a bit worried, but he was sure that it would all be okay.

Kokichi screamed, feeling the stake run through his arm

Kiibo immediately heard his lover scream and couldn't help but jump up from the bed to rush to help him. He didn't care if he was unarmed; he had to do something to help Kokichi. Even if it would cost his life, he had to do something. He couldn't just let his boyfriend die. He wouldn't allow himself to do absolutely nothing.

He rushed into the room to help Kokichi, angry at the hunter who had harmed him. "Stop!" he demanded. "If you don't, I'll, um, I'll kill you…!"

“Kii back inside!”

Kiibo shook his head. "I would be inside if you weren't going to be killed! I'm not gonna sit back and do nothing if something horrible might happen to you!" he declared. "I may not know how to fight, but I'm gonna try my best! I'm not letting anything else happen to you!"

Kiibo..” the man said with a sickening tone “you just don't learn, he'll eat you before he protects you!”

"He's my boyfriend…!" Kiibo growled. "And we were friends when we were kids…! If he wanted to kill me, he would've done so a while ago…! You just see every vampire as the stereotype that everyone says they are…! If you'd stop believing those stupid lies, you would see that there's no need for this violence!"

“ oh there's every need, they drink our blood! They feed on our lives! Their bad news!”

"They don't have to drink human blood! If he wanted to feed on my life, he would've done so last night when I was cold and bleeding…! Now I suggest you stop being so rude to my boyfriend just because he's different! He's done nothing wrong!" Kiibo yelled.

The man growled, lunging to attack kiibo.
But in seconds kokichi was throwing his body in front of kiibo to block the blow. He felt something Peirce on his left side, his face had a soft smile that hid the paralyzing pain

Kiibo growled at the hunter the moment that he stabbed Kokichi. He wasn't going to let his lover get injured without doing anything to protect him. Rage completely filled him as he witnessed the attack, and he lunged at the hunter. He was usually against violence, but as the rage and anger he felt consumed him, he couldn't help it. He had to protect Kokichi.

Kokichi dropped to a knee, coughing up some blood

Kiibo did what he could to attack the hunter. He had learned a few ways to fight at the academy, and he was going to use that to his advantage. He had to fight the hunter off. He was silent as he fought, focusing on injuring the hunter, trying to make him pay for what he had done.

The hunter was proud of his work, taking off after a moment of fighting his classmate.
